Surviving Mars is a new game about colonizing Mars. You must expand your colony and keep your colonists alive and happy. But do you NEED colonists? In this video I'm going to show you how to build a thriving colony without the need for ANY weak, whiny, oxygen-guzzling, water-wasting, food-hogging humans. Enjoy! Survivng Mars will be out soon. Do a Tour de France Challenge in hearts of iron 4 waking the tiger. You have to play as Germany and your objective is to capitulate France, Poland and the soviet union with only bicyle divisions. Enjoy :D

Triboelectric scrubbers (dont know what tech it is) will negeate maintenance even on eachother. I also doubt it would be possible to buy all the parts needed for the space elevator without excavating rare metals.

Waste rock liquifaction is a normal technology in the engineering line. Also, you make biorobots, if you get the Postronic Brain breakthrough, but they require food and homes, but never die.

Robots have every need that humans have. The only upside is that they don't reproduce. They are freakin robots! Who designed them to need food. Why do they need to socialize? Why do they need to relax? The ideal robot, like the drone, should only need power and occasional maintenance.

How dare you do it in a sensible way of sending robots to build infrastructure first? What, are you against submitting colonists to radiation while handwaving the need for protection away? How dare you?:D Though in reality space elevator would probably not exist and we'll need a chain of local SSTO shuttles, orbital space station and cyclers. Not sure why the game runs as rocket going back to Earth on thier own every time though. Seems like a massive waste. Well, hopefully mods will help this game grow. And in regards that will help with adding extra realism and complexity too.

If they were going anal on space elevators feasability: 1. We have (currently) no materials able to support the construction of one. 2. They would only be possible on very specific areas on maps pretty much on top of the equator.

I got it about 40% of the time I think. Just do what I did, check all anomalies, if you don't get it, you can restart

Extractor AI and Eternal fusion are awesome breakthroughs. There is also the breakthrough that lets you build androids but that requires humans to work the drone assembler at first. So maybe you need some human slaves to start your robot uprising! Bite my shiny metal ass!

He built all of the wonders too, the geo dome being one... Frankly I would have been pleased with two elevation levels on Mars to have two refueling bases for their rockets at the home base for any rovers and drones required. Not much infrastructure would be required at each refueling base: a fuel refinery, a done hub, a water evaporator, and a scanning tower. You might want to bring on your rocket enough medals, concrete, and electronics to build and maintain the base for a while. I would be pleased scanning and opening up all of the research trees. Getting lucky with extractorAI would have been icing on the cake shipping rare medals to sell.
