For all of you MILSO's out there, if it helps, other than obeying commands and getting through bootcamp one day at a time, the only thing that your sailor or soldier is thinking about are you guys. Every night that they go to bed, they say "i love you goodnight' hoping that the Lord God will whisper it in your ear so that you know they are thinking of you.

I loved the video! My boyfriend just finished reception and is officially at basic for the Army as of yesterday. I've been having a hard time today. A relationship with God is definitely one of the most important things I need to get through this, and I definitely plan on working on my relationship with Him.

My boyfriend just graduated from Navy Basic Training last week and boy did the 8 weeks go by fast. At least, for me it did. Taking the time to write him letters once or twice a week was a whole lot of fun. And getting letters from him once a week and occasional phone calls were always something I looked forward to. Basically, just keeping busy with work, school and spending time with good friends and family while he's away helped me out a lot.

My boyfriend left to Marine boot camp 2 weeks ago and I already received letters from him!! The first days were hard, I would cry on my way to school on my way to work, in the nights. Then I just prayed and prayed for strength. After I received his letters yesterday, I'm so much more calm now!! So far, I love it. This is what he's always wanted and I am so proud of him. Because of God, I feel such a peace within me! Thanks so much for this video!!❤

Hi!! I just started watching your videos and I am so blessed to watch you and your husband share all these great tips! My husband Rick is just starting the process for the military (just took the Asvabs). I value your videos so much because you are our brother and sister in Christ! We are in a similar life stage - christian, young, and married so I am so thankful you put up these videos for me!!! Praying for you, your husband, and your marriage that God would continue to use you to bless so many people!!! Love you guys❤️❤️❤️

I'm so glad you posted this! I have been contemplating for days to write you about how you got through bootcamp while Connor was away. I'm a new subscriber and I find your videos very helpful. My husband left for Basic Training (army) on May 1st. The month isn't even over and I feel like it's only getting harder. The only thing keeping me going are his letters in which I've gotten 4 so far. Thank god. And our little toddler boy! It's been especially hard because him and his father are inseperable and I can't explain to a 17 month old why his dad is gone. It's a really big transition. We booked our hotel room for his graduation in July already! So that is something exciting! Thanks for sharing!

I recently heard from our FRG about some ways you can help a child during separation. Ways such as getting them involved in the packing process when he leaves, books yall can read together, ect...I would look into that for next time or maybe you can find resources for now. Can't imagine the difficulty. Don't hesitate to email me! I'm always here to chat! Time is getting closer each day so definitely exciting 💕

Omg. My sailor just left for bootcamp today. We met my sophomore year of high school. So almost two years together. And we talked to each other and saw each other every day. So I feel like I'm dying right now. Not to be dramatic. But it's the worst pain I have ever felt. Like idk how I'm gonna do it.

My fiancé just left to bootcamp for the navy. today is day 2. I feel so empty without him, i feel like a piece of me is missing. I have no friends to talk to or anything so ive been sobbing and praying multiple times throughout the day. it helps but i still just feel so sad. we were with each other 25/8 and having that one day then not having him at all with no type of communication is driving me crazy lol. Im just waiting for my first letter from him or for his recruiter to send me his information and all. I miss my bestfriend so much.

I had received a letter from his boot camp that care packages weren't allowed.. they said letters only. For me, work was a lifesaver! He left for boot camp December last year and hat was the busiest time at work and I racked up a ton of overtime so that kept me busy. I also rescued a dog toward the end of him boot camp time so from his graduation to when I was finally able to move with him, taking care of our fur baby kept me occupied.

How do I remain supportive of my friends who want advice about missing their boyfriends (that aren't in the military, they just have been too busy to hang out all the time) while my boyfriend is away in AIT with mostly letter communication? I have found it really hard not to get annoyed easily with my freinds because of this, in my mind when they complain to me all i can think is "at least hes not hundreds of miles away from you and he still has his phone to text you all of the time..." and I feel like an awful person for feeling this way! :(
