Michael, I think Brandon had a legitimate beef. He felt demeaned and bullied by Phillip and he thought the game wasn't fair to the FANS. His dumping the food was a way of saying what we all think of the Phillips of the world, but are afraid to say. We all know people who flaunt their degrees in people's faces and think they are better because they hold a degree or other position of power. The I feed myself line hit the nail on the head. Brandon seemed like a guy who provides for himself and his family and Phil had no right to say what he did about Brandon,s aunt and Uncle caring for his kids, fact or not. JMHO.
@fruitsmiles29515 жыл бұрын
@@robinneher3262 Phillip is undeniably an idiot. But once you waste food in a survival situation you are a fool, it doesn't matter what point you make. It severely damages other people, not just yourself or the person you despise. While he may say he wants the fans to have a fair chance, that is a cover-up for his own selfishness, to rationalize his immature behavior. It doesn't matter if a person has a stick up their butt, you prove that you are as good as them by ignoring their taunts and gradually placing yourself in a place of power.

Brandon is truly the most unstable Survivor player ever
@robinneher32625 жыл бұрын
Not unstable, just insecure. A lot of little people are. It's hard to be a little man or woman in the world in general, but reality TV amplifies it ten fold. Brandon was Phillip,s target from day one. It was okay to attack Brandon himself, but to bring his kids into it? That was way out of line by ANY standard as it was on Big brother with Williie. Both had every right to be angry, but they both need some serious anger management before they really hurt someone. It also should be a hard and fast rule that you cannot attack the family of a given player on reality TV to further your game. It should mean automatic expulsion from the show if you do. JMO

She clearly didn't care at all for the Fans and simply was trying to keep up appearances. Brandon may have anger issues, but he's not wrong that Corrine's supposedly selfless actions are motivated by selfish intentions.

I dont think that was her goal with that speech. Corrine is a queen! Shes sucks at survivor but shes real! And entertaining!

mikaylas almost made me cry for some reason. i know this game is known for backstabbing, lying, and betrayal but the hurt on her face and the genuine shock got to me.

I mean...yes, he's being a prick, but he's still right: the Fans deserve a fair shot, Phillip is an ass, and you can't play the game walking all over people, OR getting walked on either. I liked him better in South Pacific though. He had more of a conscience and he could be controlled by better players like Coach and Cochran. He wasn't so volatile.
@dhgrazer6 жыл бұрын
ahhh bull shit you can walk over whoeveryou want..... just don't get voted out ...lol the prick is just a dumb fuck that can't handle it.... he's being played very good..... cause the asshole is out of the game... just the way you should play the game.. who givesa fuck about others..... the will run you over anyways if they can benfit from it. so him being right??? uhhhh not by a long shot. doesn't know shit, and doesn't even make a valid point in that silly argument of his. just a wannabe with no skills whatsoever
@jonahkim696 жыл бұрын
I had no problems with Brandon's outburst and meltdown. People handle stress in different ways. But when he dumped the rice and beans because he was upset with Phillip, he crossed a line. Imagine being in a real survival situation and somebody started dumping the food because he was having a tantrum, you might have to kill him.

@ soulfire39 no offense but Boston rob, Russell hantz, parvati, literally played a game where they walked all over people in a way unlike phillip that was unnoticable and they made it look classy. So you can play a game walking all over people and being clever about it. phillip just played it in a more noticeable way than most. I mean its survior a game where you are literally suppose to do whatever you can however crazy it might be to save yourself. Brandon was just a mad midget man who basically had a huge like the title said meltdown because the game just broke him.

Brandon is a typical rant person, and rant means you just can't stop digging yourself deeper

There's nothing wrong with his honesty, it's how he delivered it. If you can't express your emotions and opinions without threatening people and destroying things, you shouldn't be respected. It forms a toxic outlook for others.

The oddest thing...? If he had calmed down after the rice and food dumping, he might have gone deep that season. There have been other, ummm, "colorful" people who have stole/dumped out food in seasons before and after this one and some wanted to take them along as perfect fodder for the jury.

If you watch his first season and this season,.. It's like black and white. Water and oil. This game mentally did break Brandon. He tried to fight the darkness, with the history that might've overshadow his name, Hantz, but the darkness engulfed him entirely.

Does Survivor conduct mental health evaluations for the players before letting them in the show? I know some reality TV shows do that where you have to pass at least 3 psychiatric evaluations before they let you on the show.
