I didn't need this for confirmation that Sandra is a better player than Parvati. Sandra already proved this years ago. People want to call Parvati the queen over Sandra so bad, but Sandra proves time and time again that she will outlast Parvati when it comes to reality TV

Parvati was doomed the second Larsa said she felt Alan raised her hand next to her 😂😂 i was actually surprised she even survived the first few banishments. And ngl i really thought Sandra had this one in the bag going into the finale. would've loved to see her play as a traitor Also non-Survivor related, Phaedra really made this season interesting. She was a great addition! She's such great TV! And Peter surprised/impressed me the most out of all the non-competitive background castaways. I would like to see him in Big Brother.

The format and duration of filming for this show din't allow Parviti to use her guiles (plus everyone knows her schtick). Sandra is a huge target because of her 2 Survivor wins. Her social game was great (and expected), but was unlikely to take her to victory.

The gameplay of the Traitors this season is just kinda baffling (and i'm talking about all of them). Cirie did such a great job last season that it's hard to do it again. Parvati played too hard too early by trying to get Phaedra out early, Dan was too quiet, hears that he's too quiet and then blows up all the traitors games and Phaedra just didn't do anything for the most part and was acting too high and mighty. Dan is not cut out for a game like this and while it was great to see him again on the big screen I get why he didn't want to do reality shows again.

Yes the traitors this season were just awful. Dan made a bonehead move targeting a guy who could possibly have a world and then completely sabotaged Phaedra's game by outing her at the table

(Contain a spoiler) It’s really great to get to see Sandra and Parvati competed with each other again after years. Even though Parvati’s gameplay this time seems to be a bit disappointing (but mostly she was screwed by Dan), I’m delighted to see Sandra performed really well until the last episode. Sandra’s social skill truly shines here and proves to us again and again why she is probably the strongest social player ever in Survivor history. And she could have won if others weren’t so braindead in the end and banished her in the last banishment.

Even though the winners were basically worst-case scenario, it was really enjoyable to watch Parvati and especially Sandra on this season. The Traitors is a different show than Survivor, and I don't consider non-Survivor shows when evaluating a player's Survivor resume (if this was Survivor, it would be impossible for Trishelle to win and nearly impossible for CT), but Sandra really did show why she's one of the two greatest Survivor players of all time along with Tony.
@jthopkins

@@jthopkins No one is saying CT isn't a great Challenge player. He's top three all time in that world. The Challenge (and CT fans in particular) has the most sensitive fanbase of any show I've ever seen. It's not as difficult as Survivor. Which is totally fine. Not everyone wants to starve themselves on an island and possibly get blindsided at any time. Anyway, my comment was primarily about Sandra and what a great social player she is.

A Parvati/Sandra rematch is mildly interesting, but I think there’s another controversy which this can help settle. On Micronesia a last-minute rule change meant Parvati did not have to face her fiercest competition at FTC. Whether she could have beaten Cirie is a tantalizing open question, which is why I find it kind of hard to credit her as one of the all time greats. Here you see Parvati in more or less the same starting position as that from which Cirie ruled the castle, with much less impressive results. It keeps me thinking Cirie might be the better of the two.

That was weird. They seemed really hurt that Cirie let them think she was faithful when she was really a traitor. But what else was she supposed to do? She didn’t choose to be a traitor, and unless I’m misremembering she didn’t have the option of turning it down when she was chosen. So her only option, apart from playing the role she was assigned to the best of her ability, was what? Deliberately playing in such a way that it would be easy to identify her? Or out herself altogether? 🤔

3:22 I suspect she either watched Borneo back in 2000 and then lost interest, or else didn't watch it but absorbed some of its highlights through cultural osmosis. Either way, she hasn't thought about Survivor in decades, and now that she's suddenly reminded of it she must flog her brain to remember a few details out of context. What comes to the top of her mind? Well, Greg eating a rat was a pretty big deal at one point, and so was the snakes and rats speech; conflate the two in a foggy and imperfect, memory and there you go, they're eating snakes. There are no rattlers in Borneo of course, but the diamondback is arguably the most iconic snake species in the US, so an American who doesn't get out much might unconsciously use them as a stand in for any snake. And then of course, there's Richard Hatch's nudism; _everyone_ knew about that back then, and the way the show's publicity actively encouraged the casual audience (next to which what counts as a casual today would look like obsessive nerds who could ace your weekly trivia quizzes) to think of it as a much bigger component of his persona than it actually was. Add in the relatively iconic footage of the tribes making their way to tribal and back, and you've got naked hiking in the jungle.

I honestly believe that Dan knew he couldn't survive without throwing Parvati under the bus, and he wasn't willing to do that. So knowing that he was going home, he purposely took a terrible shot at Phaedra so that he could give both of his fellow villains the best shot at winning. I refuse to believe that the person I saw execute strategy so flawlessly on Big Brother is the same man who waited six episodes to make a move and still couldn't think of anything better than that round table embarrassment, unless he took a terrible shot on purpose.

I'm coming here as a Big Brother fan but tbh it felt like Parvati was held back by Dan (who I consider the BB GOAT). Both walked in as the biggest suspects in the show due to their reps but yet handled in so differently. Dan was so obvious in how he never talked game while no one wanted to interact with Parvati. Dan fell for what would be a standard BB bluff while Parvati knew right away that Peter lied about the shield. IMO if Parvati had a more competent partner she probably would have made it further, tho just like Sandra due to both being 2 of the greatest Survivor players of all-time no one would let them win the game.
