twenty years ago just after my tenth birthday my grandmother told me about a neat show I would love to watch-- they replayed the Borneo premiere on Saturday that weekend for some reason. We talked about Survivor and was a way we stayed in touch-- I got the news yesterday she lost her battle with dementia and I'm going home tomorrow. Seeing this just made me feel so many memories of her. I'm crying in joy, not in pain. Thank you.

And this, CBS and Jeff Probst, is why y'all are full of it when you say it costs too much to make the intros than they're worth. This was amazing and took me a second to realize it was fan made. Very well done, and definitely made me miss the photos (especially the nod to one always falling off the display). It really doesn't take much to please us fans.

This is glorious. Allow me to fanboy over all of the little touches you added to make this look like this came directly from the CBS cutting room floor. The brilliant inter-cutting of action shots with the portraits, and how none of them look like mere pulls from an episode or going the cheap route and trying to use old footage. The branding of both the season logo when the player won and the original tribe name/logo on the crate for each winner. The fact that you either used ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPHS for the still shots or a damn convincing CGI alternative. The fact that there's water sprayed on the photos as well as how there's a mix of full color, sepia tone and grayscale indicates that they were authentic. If not and this was all done in post, you had me totally fooled. The way you mix in the gimmicks of the fire tokens and EOE during the intro, which is exactly what the show would do to indicate that both are important elements of the game. Starting the lineup with Sandra (the only 2-time winner) and finishing with Rob and Parvati (the other two legends). You even nailed the ending and how it always finishes at Tribal Council, with the usual torches/voting urn/snuffer montage. Brilliant, brilliant stuff. The ONLY knock I could make on this was actually showing Jeff at the end snuffing a torch. That was the only clue I had that this was put together by an amateur. But that's a minor point; the fact that you pulled this off to the level you did is just superb. If you don't work as a professional editor, you should.

This is so AMAZING. What I honestly love is the fast pace of the music that gives it a new feel (symbolic of an era coming to an end) but still has the Survivor nostalgia. Honestly, CBS just needs to hire you cause it's incredible that you did this with just press shots.

I’d just like to say you have warmed my heart by bringing back those Polaroid/still shots of them. It seemed more authentic & like an actual Survivor journey when they did this. It seemed more eerie back in the day. I’m shook at how neat this intro looks & feel they need to hire you ❤️

I have a feeling that some of those I haven't saw like Wendell, Kim, Natalie, etc. will stay longer than the more experienced ones like Tyson, Sandra, Tony, Parvarti, etc. Wish I had more time to watch their seasons before this started :(
