Dude, you're a marketing genius. Posting these videos to KZfaq has got me wanting to rewatch everything.

Last time I've seen these episodes were as a teen over 10 years ago. Now I have a new appreciation for the quality camera work you've done, especially in survival situations. You make surviving and filming look so easy, which is a testament to your physical and mental stamina.

It’s crazy to think that Les had to carry so much gear whilst filming the early series of Survivorman! Imagine what it would have been like if he had a few GoPros, SD cards, small batteries and a solar recharger way back then. Loving all these episodes! Such a rich, educational and entertaining resource!

With all that’s going on in the world today this was a very enjoyable 45 minute vacation from life.

Reminder that everytime he walks away in a cool shot, he immediately has to double back and go get it before he actually leaves.

You can't underestimate the significance of this original series. It inspired people to get outside and learn wilderness skills. It also inspired people to be prepared for anything. No one's come close to making films this interesting and authentic. It's not a reality show, it's a real show. So much better than what's on TV these days.

Could you imagine this type of video in today’s time (2024) with the live streaming capabilities. We could easily be watching Les live as he does these types of videos.

Watching years later and realizing he brings up the rock story from 127 hours, nuts.

This guy is the reason I started using leatherman tools. I saw them in the vids and figured if this guy trusts them they are probably good.

Les Stroud is The Man! Unfortunately, youtube has made many of his vid's unwatchable because of forced ads literally every 2-3 minutes. I timed it. KZfaq wants everyone to buy their paid content. I was thinking about it, but I will not financially support a company that is so willing to abuse it's potential customer base.

Les literally left a camera rolling on the other side of a glacier so he could get a super wide long shot of him walking it. That means he has to walk back to grab it (hoping it's still recording) and then walk back the way he just traversed twice already. INSANE! Thank you Les!

It's crazy to think that this was way back in 2005, incredible how much has changed. I was 14 now 31- Jesus this still holds up.
