@@blake7587 can you blame him for wanting to reap the rewards of his hard work through some monetary gain? Not to mention, he uploaded all of these old episodes in the height of the pandemic, an extremely smart move from a business perspective. He knew people were cooped up in their homes and spending a lot of time watching KZfaq and other media. A lot of people hadn’t seen this content since it aired on television, and he gave them something to look forward to each week in the form of another episode being uploaded to his channel. It was a huge win for him and the people who enjoy his content. You know what they say: don’t hate the player, hate the game.

It taught me that if something bad were to ever happen or if I was stuck in a situation like that, I'd know what to do and hope panic wouldn't catch me first, which me being a girl, it might, but hopefully I'd know what to do.

When you realize that Les is literally completely ALONE out there, it just blows your mind! Unlike other supposed survivalists, Les has no film crew, no one to save him, doctor him or fly him out in an emergency. He does phenomenal video work and he works hard to get those shots that make the show as cool as it is.. He has to set his camara up to get the shots of himself walking away and doing his thing and then hike all the way back and retrieve that camera and do it all over again and again.. Just incredible work Les! You are my hero to this day! Thank you for all the hard work you've done.. surviving everywhere and for being the humble, top notch *world class* videographer you are!! ❤️💯📽️👀🙆‍♀️ PS: *Men* like you are a dying breed. Today, us girls are surrounded by 'males'? in skinny jeans who wear nail polish. 🤦‍♀️😖😭 PPS: Such a blessing that Les never ended up in one of David Paulides Missing 411 books!! That little saw did a ton of work there. I know that Swiss Army Knives have a decent reputation but this video took it to another level. The one I have also has a little magnifying glass as one of the tools. I've never tried to start a fire with it but now I want to give it a try. You are so authentic and honest that’s what I always loved about survivorman. Me and my uncle used to spend quality time laughing at your mess ups lol. Not in a bad way, but it’s nice that you don’t make stuff up and keep it Legit.

Man, the song that plays from 2:13 to 3:04 is seriously beautiful! Thanks again, Peter Cliche! I don't think the music he made for these shows can get much more perfect... like, seriously, it's amazing...

Thank you so much for sharing your work on here Les. You had such a big impact on my youth and young adult life. I was really inspired to learn about survival and get out into the wilderness. I especially love the simplistic original format of these first few seasons when it was more of an instructional show, but the new episodes are great too.

Love how in the pilot episode, within 2 minutes you were already pre-emptively calling out Bear Grylls. "This isn't man versus wild." Turns out you predicted the future, Les!

I think the narration's newer than that. For one thing, Les mentions his zones of assessment method, which he didn't develop until sometime after Discovery released the alleged competitor.

@@Amanda-C. I love watching both Bear and Les.. Both have skills and capabilities of their own.. Bear shows were made more on how to thrill the viewers.. And Les is showing how to live under certain circumstances.. But one thing Bear on top of Les ~ Bear can climb coconut trees in 5 minutes and Les can't.. Lol

@@hermybaharuddin1285 I don't think Bear can, either. (I mean, yeah, fictional character, action-survivalist Bear Grills, can do it. But. Like. Come on. How many takes did they need, how much helpful editing, and how well-fed and rested was he? Bear was a reality TV star, and I've never liked reality TV. Glad you enjoyed it, though.)

@@Amanda-C. yeap.. U got that one right.. I did watch the making of Man vs Wild.. They surely need a lot of takes.. I like watching it because it was fast paced, due to the edting, camera angles from everywhere and musics.. But Les surely made a point when he said , "You step onto something, not jump onto it and break your ankle.." But still, i enjoyed them both.. Lol, its hard to find a fan who likf both of them, ya know.. Its always been Les fan vs Bear fans... But i am.. 😁😁😁 But not really a fan of Dual Survival though.. Lol...
