This week, Kelly from Off the Beaded Path in Forest City, North Carolina,is here to show you a new ring project this week. This is a great project for all levels. Kelly also has written patterns and kits available to purchase on Etsy. www.etsy.com/shop/offthebeadedpath
Materials needed for this project are:
(46-50) - 4mm Bicone Crystals
(25) - 11/0 Seedbeads
(30) - 3mm Rounds
(1) - 14mm Rivoli
(12 inches) - Opelon Stretch Cord
(2) - Big Eye Needles
(1 Yard) - 6lb. Fireline

Kelly, thank you so much for sharing so much of your time to show us how to make all the beautiful things you make . You are a wonderful teacher and very articulate. All your tutorials are easy to follow . I've watched many jewelry tutorials and believe you do the best ones. You also realize that we like all the little extras like you did here using the seed beads to make the marquis. Another thing I like about your tutorials is you take time to use the zoom. Keep up the wonderful work!

I really love this ring, and you are my favourite beader on youtube .... I think these would look really gorgeous with a different coloured rivoli inside, like maybe .... a blue one behind purple bicones .... orange rivoli behind yellow bicones etc: maybe I will try that for myself. Thank you for your time and efforts teaching us all how to make stunning jewellery I've learnt sooooooo much from your tutorials xxx

Love this ring. Also love the one she is wearing. There are several rings that she has worn in her videos that I have fallen in love with and I want to make. I absolutely loved this ring and I couldn't wait til I got my rivolis, so I actually made it with a square flatback with crystal clustered all over it. Obviously, I was terrified that it wasn't gonna work but the square actually worked awesome!! I will send a pic on face book to show you how it turned out. Still waiting on my rivolis to come in. Should've ordered them from you.LOL

Love this ring Kelly. I get lots of requests for fancy crystal rings. You mentioned before that you make items for the shop. My question to you is approximately what would you charge a customer for this ring with all the crystals that it takes to make including the rivoli.

if you take a marker and color each end its easier to see the ends

Hey Kelly. I just finished my ring and its the most gorgeous ring I have ever made. The shape is different than yours though, is that because I used swarvoski and it pulls together differently because I have to add 2 in between rather than 1? I also noticed when I turned it over to do the 3 crystals for the band that is was an even amount so I couldn't do the band in a center anywhere. I'll post pics on the facebook blog so you can see. Thanks again, I absolutely love love love this ring.

Hi, Kelly. It was wonderful to see your videos. Good job! I have a few queries that need your advice : 1) Is the rivoli flat on its top surface or it has a pointed top? 2) Are you using a light amethyst rivoli and amethyst thunder polish crystals in your demo here? 3) Will the bottom point of the rivoli give an uncomfortable feel to the finger? 4) How to choose the colour of a rivoli to match well with the bicone crystals on top? Should it be a darker colour or a lighter one?

Deanna, you will need to center your band over 2 beads and not just one since you are using Swarovski

I would love to but to be so in depth with the techniques it would be hard. My followers enjoy the vidoes the way they are so to make them shorter I would have to cut out a lot of the steps that I show. Sorry.
