@@ArashiGalaxy I believe the Japanese fandom claims he's Ziggy Stardust's cousin living in Japan.

@@ExTechOp I mean, other than David Bowie, I don't think anyone could be able to make such great music in any genre like Susumu does it

Susumu is way underrated on a global scale. He makes truly amazing music, I'd dare to say the some of the best ever written in human history melodically. And that voice is the most addictive drug ever spawned from mankind!

My favorite artist since I first heard him in "Millenium Actress" many years ago. I'm extremely grateful to him for his music

It is very unappreciated. I thought he was one of the most popular in Japan, but it turned out he wasn't even in the top 20 all the time

BRUHHH the way he walks over to the mic to deliver that final verse.... fuckin powerful

I find it funny more than anything. Like he thought the song was already over and someone backstage reminded him he still had a verse left so he just nonchalantly walks back and casually delivers the rest of this absolute banger.
this song set me on a journey through my mind and made me experience a powerful joy that I have not felt in years listening to music. Susumu Hirasawa is a genius deserving of the highest honor

BigTeeEff it has moved beyond that now, these two are now love for me and RUINER will always be another classic in my mind forever along with PREY(2017) this year. Nier was great but I found it repetitive.

The buildup of this song and the incredible payoff at the end... Especially in this live concert... Amazing. When he casually enters the stage again with the red light and the dance in the background, that's a feeling only a performance like this can create.

@@TheStruggler0 It isn't "shibu",but it's "shibui".It isn’t personal name,but it’s adjective."Shibui" is "渋い" in Kanji and Hiragana. "Shibui"has meeting in that cool and low-keyed.

This feels like an excerpt from a Hirasawa-esque opera. I'd watch that opera. Hell I'd travel to Japan just for it.

I like this a lot. Both versions we got (this one and the one from RUINER) are both godlike! Simply amazing
@netako4 жыл бұрын
The one from Ruiner is actually the original version from the album Aurora, the original version is also his longuest song, which lasts almost 14 minutes (well, if we don't count Sakuran No Tobira from Hirasawa's first band Mandrake, this one lasts almost 20 minutes).

I love both a lot. This version sounds medieval while the Aurora version sounds futuristic, which fits Ruiner and sounds good on its own. But I think I prefer this version too
