Is this character supposed to be Set, from Egyptian mythology? This does look quite entertaining.

Set is one of his many names, but he is Sutekh, god of death.

His name and look is inspired by Egyptian mythology, yeah. But the character overall is from Doctor Who. Antagonist who showed up in Classic who as an alien from Osirian spieces, and lately came back as "God of Death"in the finale of first season of 15th Doctor adventures. So... Inspiration from mythology, character from Doctor Who
