Wow, great job Ed 💯, I'm surprised the owner didn't want more work performed on that part. I know I would knowing you're at the Helm😊

Nice work Ed, I've put many Helicoils in aluminum, it always makes me nervous. I did every hole in my nephew's 2001 Bullitt Mustang intake manifold, a bunch of M4 x 0.7, M5 x 0.8 and M6 x 1.0 threaded holes, someone had gotten crazy on them and stripped out about half of them, so we went back thru and fixed them all. I was nervous as it is a very expensive intake manifold.

Thanks Patrick, I Appreciate you watching and the comment. I have been using Helicoils along time, with great success. Is it the end all for thread repair? No of course not. When I worked in Aerospace I was surprised to see that some parts had Helicoils in at the start, not a repair. I could see where you were nervous putting in all of the small Helicoils. Have a great day.

@@edsmachine93 From using them at my work, they are stronger than threads in raw aluminum. We had to do a welding repair where someone had broken off a bolt in a coil pack mounting lug and then broke most of the lug off trying to get the broken bolt out, it's well over a $1K intake to replace, so I was being very careful!

Silly Songs with Larry - Everybody's got a water buffalo. Yours is fast, but mine is slow. Where'd we'd get them I don't know... Sorry... Great work as usual Ed...
