Wow! Great job! That thing is definitely the underdog in the class. But you'll definitely leave the MT for dead now, and catch that duke 790, and aprilia 660 tuono! (If they can keep them from breaking!lmao)

Man I want to like this bike but after owning I4 supersports for decades I just can't get past the lack of a top end rush. Brutal acceleration is part of the fun of riding. I wish the GSX8R had a GSXR750 engine. I'd buy one then. Everyone is going with these parallel twins now. It does have an impressive torque curve, it's only slightly below an SV1000 and my FZ1.

Thats fair. Its not that kind of motor. Some like it some dont. I am lucky to have turned a passion into my profession so i have several different types of motorcycles. This bike now zips up to the top end but If you want a big top end rush this isnt the bike for you. My h2sx is that bike for me.

120+ db with the exhaust damn! Thats very loud

Yes it is. Its very noticeable now that im testing the akrapovic how much more quiet the akra is. Honestly though , i never grew tired of it when doing my road tuning. I liked it. Im 52 and not into noise makers. It sounded crisp clean and sharp. My tune has something to do with that but its a good sounding exhaust.

Hey man, I’m looking into the gsx8r as my first bike and I really like the arrow exhuast and I just have a question about the db killer. If I purchase from you in the future are you able to remove the db killer? I don’t have the right tools at the moment to do it myself and don’t want to scratch the carbon fiber. 😅

Great videos. I'm considering the arrow for my gsx8s. Unfortunately I'm in the UK and I can't seem to find anyone who has spent any time tuning these bikes yet. How did you find it ran without a tune, do you think I would have any issues with it running lean or causing any problems while I wait for the UK to catch up with their tuning?

If you leave the intake all stock it would be ok

There is no problem in running lean or rich. My Z900 has a full system too for 3 years without any tune or mod and its running absolutely fine enough power everywhere and no problems.

Awesome information. I'm looking into this exhaust but am in New Zealand so getting a tune is a lot more difficult. If I do no other mods, will this run fine? I will most likely be running the DB killer and the catalytic converter, unless you would recommend against that? Thanks!

Leave the intake 100% stock and it will be ok

May i ask what’s the idea/purpose of draining the radiator during exhaust exchange?? Waiting for my Arrow system to arrive

So you can move the radiator out of the way and easily get to the header flange bolts. Are you in the USA? I have a free flash with arrow system purchase

@@sweatmachine69 i wouldnt run it without the flash. Your leaving the lions share of the performance on the table and the bike doesn’t run nearly as well in normal use.
