I visit a specific restaurant once or twice a week where I've noticed the Gen 3 quite often...I always walk slower past it, because I just adore the look of it. I've seen the specific Gen 4 vehicle a few times as well in Nelspruit....good job Gents!

Many years ago I saw a photo of all the parts that makes up a Jimny after a teardown. That was the moment I said, even I that have two left hands when it comes to holding a screwdriver, can handle this. If ever they might search for an accurate marketing slogan that describes the Jimny perfectly, it is this: Can-do!

Yes most definitely, he has done most of the modifications by himself, if you have the know how it can save you quite alot on labour costs

@@BauersOdyssey It is not only about saving costs, though cost does factor in the equation. It is that the experts modify Land Cruisers, Jeeps and Land Rovers themselves while most people have experts doing this for them. With almost every other brand of off-road vehicle the average person simply sticks to what the manufacturer offers. The Jimny gives us the courage to taking things apart and replacing them with exciting upgrades -- the number of women that have fitted differential protection and even lift kits to the Jimny and doing everything themselves is astounding.

I really like the shelf you installed at the handlebars in the back close to the roof- where did you get it? or did you make it?? would love to know more!! Do you perhaps know how to remove reatr seats?

Great video thanks! Why did you choose Tough Dog instead of Old Man Emu? I would appreciate your opinion as I am considering doing a 40mm upgrade.

Old emu not available three years ago in SA for Gen4 when he installed it. But as said in the video the Tough Dog hasn't let him down and is very happy with their product

I added spacers to my car. Some dude smashed into the back of me .My insurance company did not cover the incident due to the spacers being non standard decreasing the safety of the vehicle

Is there a recommended RPM to use when changing gears? For a normal road?

Depends on your driving style, I normally shift at around 4000rpm

The rock sliders have points for the high lift jack
