BMO is next level Sik. I love what you're doing, Peder - proving you don't need "more" or "bigger". I've used plasti-dip on a grille before, after 4 years of highway driving there was barely a scratch. Would recommend based on my experience, never used rino. THANK YOU for sharing your trials and resolutions with the lift, with this mod in my crosshairs I'm so grateful for this. Keep up the vlogs! 🤘

Yes to the awning and yassss to the mullet! Bummer about the mechanic stuff, a bad mechanic can be really dangerous. I just bought an 05 Honda CR-V that I’m looking to do something similar to, so definitely looking forward to more of this kind of content! Cheers

Hello, suggesting Neon Orange - as the color for the Yakima Space Case It is is visible from a great distance and an uncommon color for a vehicle that'll make BMO easily identifiable.

I would paint the bottom of the box black and the top highlighter yellow, this way you have a visibile waypoint if you ever get a little disoriented or lost in the woods hehe. Even in general it would be nice and visibile

Cool little car! Was thinking of doing something similar. Question: where does your spare tire go? That's my only concern... looking for a spot to put a full-size spare somewhere. Let me know if you've figured anything out. Thanks! And thank you for sharing your ride. =)

Hey Nicholas, I’m stoked to hear you’re loving you’re SX4 and thinking about doing a conversion! I think you’re asking about dimensions and not dinner? Off hand I don’t have the dimensions, but when I seal the bed frame to prevent moisture damage, I’ll take some measurements and update you.

Actually I think that Yakima makes a narrow rack called SkinnyWarrior. It’s a little wider then the rack I have but similar in length. I recently found out that Kuat discontinued the Mini skinny.

This is dope. What do you get for MPG with the lift and tires?

Thanks Peter! My MPG did go down, but I'm getting a little over 20mpg, with both the rack & rocket box, with nothing loaded. I did however just replace the Spark Plugs & Air Filter, so I'm hoping that helps a little. Ill make sure to give you an update if it does. Thanks for asking!

Just purchase the same car. is it still worth lifting and getting bigger tires if I do get the the 00mm offset? Or would the problems you had with the lugnuts still be a thing because of daily driving? I live in Montréal and its nice have something with those changes for winter with its AWD system.

To be completely honest I don't know about the stock offset, and what tire size is compatible. I do know that there is a thread in the Suzuki SX4 Facebook group. I know some have gotten bigger tires on their stock rims and offset, I'm just not sure how big. Best of luck, and I hope this helps.

I have a question. Is Suzuki sx4 raised 2 inches? or 1.2? I ask you why I bought a 2013 suzuki sx4 and I bought a 1.2 lift kit and I want to put bigger tires on it but I don't know whether to put 215/65/r15 on it or the ones you have 215/75/r15

Just wanted to give some technical feedback. I would switch to either a shotgun or lavier mic. The ADR you have here is really quite distracting from an otherwise very engaging video.

Nothing yet, but I do plan on doing something. Definitely adding a snorkel and also plan on updating the exhaust. If I had the money I'd add a turbo lol

Hey Peder, what do you think about the Yescom Awning? Good system or cheap piece of crap? Really digging your videos. Some day I'll tell you about my old Subaru with the homemade rocket box, that I drove to Alaska in. ;-)

Hi Kajsa! I did look at the yescom, and really liked the reviews I saw online. Ultimately I wanted to plan as if something were to break. ARB has tons of locations throughout the south and central America, as well as a really great customer service that can work with some potentially far-out locations. If I was planning to stay more in the states I would feel a lot better about going the Yescom route. Oh?! I can't wait to hear this story! Travel home safe and see you soon!

0mm offset is what I've been told. If you're looking to get a little tire poke out of the wheel well, 15x7in with 0mm will do it with the least amount of rubbing in the wheel well.
