Medium trim S-Cross is best buy little SUV with 4x4 right now. In my opinion.. Its not fancy car like some others but it will be great trusty work horse that is hard to no like.. I own new diesel with allGrip and decent trim and i love it more every time i drive it. It suits perfect for my needs..Not my 1st 4x4 Suzuki so i knew what i am buying and what to expect and it delivered better than i hoped..Nice review :)

cant for the sake of me,understand why you find the suzuki worse than the mazda cx3.why do i say that? i have a 2015 mazda cx-5 and went to change my wifes old cal for the cx-3 and it was awful.room at the back non existent,very cramped inside.i heard about the new sx4 and did not really want to go but the showroom was near so we went.what an eye opener.the sx4 is brilliant and it was cheaper and better in all areas.folks dont go for the cx3.if you are in the market for that kind of a car give the sx4 a look.

actually. this car has max torque from 1800rpm to redline... So... Maybe you won't feel it but the turbine gives it much torque down low at rpm range, so you can shift to higher gear(fuel economy is around 6 liter or less for normal driving). My father ordered one and we are getting it somewhere in december. I drove one and it feels very quick when you punch that 1.4 turbo engine :)

I cannot agree that this is not as good as a Mazda, The Mazda is slightly (0.2 sec) 0-60 and a little worse on its fuel consumption maz 50 mpg Suzi 54 mpg and the Mazda is a fake its only 2wd. The Nissan is comparable but again its 2wd so you dont get the grip of the Suzuki system on cornering or a wet road. The S Cross 1.4 is also the best on emissions too.

Qashqai is not as reliable and thirsty, and Mazda CX3 is a two seater (barely enough room in the back for kids).

Great review, was waiting for someone to make a review for it so i can decide on the new qashqai or the S-Cross. Right now I've decided on the Nissan Qashqai

You listed the Nissan and Mazda...how this compare to the Creta from Hyundai or the ASX from Mitsubishi?

Here in India, S Cross has been launched for the first time (with the face of the 2013 global model). 1.6 L diesel engine is getting a really good feedback from car enthusiasts as well as experts. Sadly, safety features like ESP, Traction Control, Hill Start/ Stop function, 7 airbags are not there in the Indian model. We have to contend with 2 airbags, ABS n all 4 discs. I have a doubt. Shall I go for this car or for some other car of the same price range which has most of the above safety features, like Volkswagen Polo n Vento???? My heart is for S Cross but mind says it's better to be safer. So, please advise me. Is ESP a 'must have' feature???? Does it really become a life saving tool in emergency situations ??? or its utility is overstated ??

shaens dreams Polo and SCross both are two different segment cars, all poloz ventoz comes with dual airbagsy, only car which comes with 6 airbags is Creta. Start stopt button is available in mid and top end models... Not sure where you got there wrong information about SCross. If safety is your concern please get a Volvo V 40, SCross is a damn good car and 1.6L ddis is worth driving than the Germans...

Hi njstewart78atgmail, thanks for the feedback. We've swayed between having music and not having music. On the Audi Q2 review we didn't and were advised to have some, so it made a come back with the S-Cross.

Driver's Seat I'd loose the music. It just makes it difficult to hear the dialogue and that's the main reason for watching the Video.

Hi there. The asking price for the 1.4-litre Boosterjet SZ5 Allgrip is £22,849. Our test car came in Energetic Red metallic paint which costs an extra £430.
