Had one in the eighties that I swapped a KE125, no idea of mechanics then as when I turned the lights on the power dropped. Next time I saw one was in a racing exhibition in Douglas museum, still beautiful in race trim

Villiers should have imported the engines in the late 60s and then they could have been put in bikes like the Arial. Would have been awesome.

Had a couple of these.first one in the mid seventies seconds one late seventies. Only issue I had was a very noisy second gear so engine out and new gear clusters fitted compliments of Derek Loan motorcycles who unfortunately are no longer trading.

Regarding the chroming of your exhausts, I would recommend S&T Electroplate near Bristol. They did a fantastic repair and chroming of my H2 exhaust 👍

Hi, I have been following all video on the T500 and the result is beautiful. I got this bike in 71 with the same colour and my dream is to find one to refurbish. Unfortunately, my wife tells me that I cannot keep two bikes in the garage. I have already a CB 750 K1 from 71. As you have both the H1 and T500, could you compare both? Best regards.
