To be accurate, this is music he wrote for the games Scarlet and Violet, but this arrangement was created by someone else. Still pretty incredible that his music is now a part of Pokémon at all now though haha

He isn't a composer for the anime, he just wrote one of the original tracks in here (tera raid). The op didn't write down the other composers for the other songs in the medley.

It's a mixture of the Gym Leader and Tera Raid themes 0:14 Gym Leader theme 0:27 Tera Raid theme 1:02 Gym Leader tera theme 0:56 Red's theme (and by extension, Geeta's theme)

It’s a medley of a couple different themes, which will all most likely appear separately in the anime- so the parts that do sound like the Gym Leader theme are just little parts of it, and we’re yet to hear the full thing

I think the versions of both songs from the games are better, but I still love this medley! It fits with how Horizons is supposed to be some epic adventure

Love this! Huge upgrade from the game version(which I felt could've had more energy and hype). Btw anyone know the name of that song in Horizons that plays during most of the epic moments? It might simply be the Rising Volt Tacklers Theme or Freide's theme. Not sure. Edit: Nvm found it. I was right its the Rising Volt Tacklers theme.

This is how SV should have sounded a brand like pokemon has the budget for full orchestra. If OLM can do it consistently for 27 years why not main series games.

I necessarily think this would’ve worked as nice in the games. Different forms of media have different types of music and for anime the epic orchestral feel is more important imo.

Bruh we don't need fully orchestrated Pokemon music, it's better to combine digitized instruments with some orchestral elements

I understand why people are saying that this is better than the one from the game but to be honest I prefer the one from the game more (also because this is too orchestral for me and i never really liked orchestral music) but this one was still pretty good

@@coolskeleton1953I’ve seen plenty. Why do I need to see one now? Scarlet and Violet was really special to me and this theme made me feel things at a time when I was struggling a lot. To hear it in such a victorious and magical way made me emotional. Sorry about that.
