This is honestly one of the best wrestling games ever made. Def in my top 3 of all time

I find it funny how huge they used to make Brock Lesnar's character models look in the older games. I thought he was ridiculously huge in HCTP, but in this he's an absolute unit. Even the women are ripped beyond belief in this lol.

I loved playing this on the GameCube

I played the hell out of this game and The original Day Of Reckoning. You could add some pretty crazy thing to your created wrestler like samurai swords, light sabers, so on and so forth. Great video as always!

All the divas have alt attire that's literally just bra panties and high heels. WWE was definitely something else at this time.

I loved the Revenge Mode, at first it was weird to have tha kind of mode in a wrestling game, but the story and gameplay on it were great.

I use to call this game the "animated version" of HCTP... It has just about the same roster.... It also has a lot of the same in game music.... GREAT REVIEW BRO!!!!

Great review. I loved beating the crap out of the security guards and construction workers in Revenge mode, especially killing them and then hearing "ELIMINATED!". Also this game was pretty hilarious that you could throw weapons REALLY far, I used to annoy the crap out of my friends doing this when they were trying to taunt/do moves and I was on the outside.

Wrestlemania 19 was my top 5 favorites in wrestling games, this game gave me a lot of fun with couch play. Easy to learn, easy to reverse, it felt like an upgraded no mercy/wrestlemania2000/wcwNwoRevenge

I loved this game, the only thing it lacked was a story mode but that’s about it. I liked the collision detection system, throwing your opponent into other wrestlers added a different element to the game.

This game turned out a lot better than I thought it would when I first got it. I didn't really like WrestleMania 18 all that much because the game for me had a lot of problems. WrestleMania 19 was definently an improvement over that last game. The gameplay was a lot better the graphic's were well improved and it was a lot more fun lol.

The collision issue isn't much of a problem in XIX since the ai will wait for you to finish. They don't intentionally break up your moves like they do in X8 or Day of Reckoning 2.

I own over 50 pro wrestling games (basically all wwe/wcw from snes onwards), its great to find somebody who appriciates the history of pro wrestling video games! Keep up the excellent work!

the created wrestlers you can make in this can be pretty fun, I remember making stuff like a monk whos face was on fire, and a dancing lizard I named Capoeriasaurus..... also, Stacy Kiebler had different things she would say when you exited the Shopzone, one of them being: "go earn some more cash, and come see ME again"...

I loved the collision issue. It was annoying at times but getting to slam your opponent with a choke and hit the other two guys in the ring it brilliant.

The strangest single player mode ever in a wrestling game....

I think Revenge mode was probably my favorite single player mode in a wrestling game. I'm shocked to hear that some people didn't like it because they wanted a tradition career mode.

Best Wrestling game for Gamecube, I prefer this game over, Smackdown vs raw 2008-WWE12 and 2k15-2k16. The replay value is crazy. Get a king of the ring going with tag teams attack the ref he attacks you back no dq and your set. Putting people through tables has never been easier.

I didn't really mind revenge mode all that much. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I thought it was unique for a wrestling game. I would've much rather preferred a season mode but I could accept revenge mode for what it was.

Why does this look more enjoyable than Day of Reckoning? Those Revenge stages look alot of fun. I like how it shares the same music as HCTP and Raw 2.

Just a late point: There was only one game to have more than 4 people in the ring at the same time for the Royal Rumble mode and it was the WWF Royal Rumble (1999) Dreamcast version. It boasted having an entire Royal Rumble filled with eight participants (with no lag, but no full entrances either). They lower the amount for quality control in later games (even the N64 games had 4, WWF/E WrestleMania X8 had 4, this one had 4). The amount of players didn't go back up until WWE 2K18 -- which contains 6 at one time.

They should've added Benjamin & Haas, 3 Minute Warning, and Shane McMahon

Some of my observations: Wwe day of reckoning 2 has no steel steps.. 6:14 table move away from standing ladder is same as wwe day of reckoning 2... 6:59 in day of reckoning 2 you can't easily break table and ai will unconscious on top of table some time ... In day of reckoning 2 ladder or table will reassign to ground if you try to keep it over or inbetween rope.. Both games not have ability to remove corner pads.. Both games had only 10 front grapple same as wwe raw 2 for xbox... Wwe day of reckoning 2 has four options while doing submission and ladder can't be kept over table.. Wwe day of reckoning 2 has no corner ladder and table grapple but you can slam opponent on ladder and table.. In wwe day of reckoning 2 opponent can be unconscious in reymisterio 619 opponent position (on second rope) and 619 can be done manually...

Can you edit the wrestler's attires , for example , changing the colour of tights or trunks?

I think the reason there was no king of the ring arena that year was because it got pulled for bad blood, could be wrong though

A good wrestling game on GCN. But the Revenge mode is terrible. I remember buying this game at launch and when I played the Revenge mode...I was disappointed. So instead, I quit about half-way through and never bothered to play that mode again. I just used Action Replay to unlock everything instead. But the game has crazy Creation options. I miss the swords, and wished the recent WWE games would have them again. I have created everyone from Goku, Superman (with a G), Cloud Strife, Squall Leonheart, Heihachi Mishima, Darth Malak, Spider-Man to an original barely naked guy with an endless piss coming out of his penis. Funny shit.

Bought a Wii for my girl at the time and attempted to use their ability to play gamecube games on it to try these puppies out. Did not work well. Was very sad. Day of Reckoning 2 looked great.

I loved No Mercy so much the controls were very similar in this game. I was fooled into purchasing another game that reviewers compared to No Mercy Wrestling Revolution 3D has to be the most tedious wrestling game there is. The controls are trash, the collsion detection is non existent & the AI is just the pitts. I don't know why so many reviewers compared it to No Mercy that game has no competition in my opinion. Looking forward to the AEW game as it has a lot of the same team behind No Mercy

it took me forever to find this game back in 2003 only to find it similar to the previous game wrestlemania 18 and i absolutely hated the story mode which i thought was the worst story mode in a wrestling game.
