Excellent video as always. Tried and loved Cicavit. Very gentle on the eyes too. Will definitely try the stick for lips. Not many good lip sunscreens.

very helpful review! the cicavit one stings my face when I apply the correct amount and the invisible moisturising milk (not in the video) is pretty greasy and sticky. I really enjoy using the blur mousse(not in the video), which is not really a mousse and is more of a regular whipped texture; the only problem is that it leaves a slight orange-ish tint on the face. I will try the dry touch fluide next! Hopefully won't leave a cast on medium skin tones. They really need to make their sun secure line fragrance-free!

Hello I use the shiseido stick which is also transparent (blue colored one for Europe). It seems fine. Although I feel slightly itchy and tickly 😂 I use for reapplication during the day. I am trying to finish it up. Maybe then will try svr one 😄. Nice video as always. Cheers Cyrille.

Pro-tip: you can ask SVR (via e-mail) about UVA protection factor and they probably will send you numbers. Worked for me. Eg. their Sun Secure Blur is 'just' SPF 50 but it has UVA-PF 22,5 so it is like in SPF 50+ products. I don't know why they can't just put it on their website so everyone could easily check UVA-PF. So mysterious but why...

Subscribed and big fan! Yesss you are going to make me love sunscreens too. TBH with you I still struggle but I ammmm applying my sunscreen everyday, BUT to love it is still miles away, the problem is the textures. Applying skincare is soooo satisfying and spa-like feeling and sooo relaxing and suddenly.... we have to top this with sunscreen, some too greasy, too matte, too whatever. But I know, I know, I have to do it, so far my favorite is the Klairs soft uv essence. BUt am using my innisfree one too, and purito one too. I promise to be a good girl and one day, I will love them too. Xoxo keep safe and regards!

And I just bought another tube of the cocavit SPF. As I work a lot now with computer (and play video games for longer time 😁) my skin normally tends to produce more sebum but with this one on my face I noticed that the sebum production on my face stayed almost the same...I will recommend it to some of my programmer friends 😁 Before it's getting too hot I guess I will stay with this one!

I enjoy your videos sooo much. They are so educating. I don't know of this brand is available in France (but the name seems French 🙈) , but in Germany there was a new sun screen released from Garnier. I would love to hear your opinion on it : Garnier Ambre Solaire sensitive expert+ 50+ Fluid Please keep on doing these great videos and educate all of us that are helplessly overwhelmed by the choices.... @@Nilmavi I did too. They told me only about the protection factor. They said it has a uvb protection of 72 and UVA of 46... Which is awesome.... I too thought it reminded me a lot of the La Roche Posay Shaka fluid.

Damn, I use every single product. Blur one is my favorite. “Extreme” one.. I really like that is transparent and jelly but i feel it on my skin 😫 it’s a little bit “heavy”

Cyrille, I hardly comment on any videos but I would like to thank you for all your content. I found you a few weeks ago and have been binge watching all your videos. I had a question and hope you can answer. I live in the USA but get the la roche posay anti shine spf 50+ shipped online, but the PPD rating is different on the French website(PPD 21) and all other country websites list it as PPD 31. How do I know the PPD of the one I have if all the websites have different ingredients but same PPD? Can you review this sunscreen? And is PPD 21 good enough for someone that tans easily? How much does it protect? Thank you for all you do!

How does the stick apply on the face? Do you need to press hard to get enough product on your skin? For the white one, it did look like you had to press pretty hard. Is it the same for the orange one? I'm afraid of stretching my skin when using a stick. It does look really interesting though!

Hello Cyrille 🤗 Is this possible that Avobenzone in sunscreens is hurting my skin? Every sunscreen I used with this type of filter hurt my skin after some time of use (1-2 weeks), now I use Bioderma Cicabio and everything is healing up. Thanks for this video, I am going to try some of this sunscreens of SVR soon 😊

Cool video :) The options of SPFs and information online is CHAOTIC. I thought I found a perfect sunscreen (only by ingredient list, haven't tried it yet) by Klairs Soft Airy SPF 50 (I noticed you mention it above), but I noticed they use orange peel oil. Is that not potential irritant and also are essential oils not best to be avoided, ESPECIALLY when it comes to SPFs, because they may be phototoxic and/or fall to free-radicals? Thank U, merci.

Lucica Barsan The Sun Blur is SPF50 and not SPF50+. This is also why so many of you like it. When it is less protective it has fewer filters and so more pleasant...

I prefer to use mineral SPF during summer and I notice that SVR proposes some tinted mineral sunscreens...I used Bioderma's Nude Touch for 2 summers and it's almost perfect,just a bit drying as I'm ageing and my skin is less oily even during summer. The Avène tinted mineral fluid is less drying but there's only one colour which is too dark for my skin tone. So I'm eager to try the SVR mineral sunscreen. Do you have any idea about their mineral sunscreens (not the stick 😁)? I'm also wondering the new 8 ingredients gel is perhaps good for après-soleil ?

Yes! I am interested in it also. Have you ever tried Uriage Bariesun tinted cream spf 50 or bioderma photoderm spf 50 tinted cream? I have normal to dry skin with a oily T zone- annoying lol. I'm in the US and debating ordering it one of those 3.

I ordered SVR Sun Secure Crème Invisible Finish Comfort Cream SPF50+, because fluid indeed could not be enough for dry skin. Would you still recommend to use a rich cream+fluid instead of this comfort cream (which I assume combines both)? There should be a reason why you don't ever mention this particular product? :P

It is a very nice cream actually. It melts into skin and shine disappears in seconds after I have applied it. The only problem why I rarely use it though... is the scent! It is really strong!! Like a perfume on the face, and sadly I am not into that :( I believe this is the reason why he might never recommend it to us >:D Now I am waiting for the "SVR Cicavit+ Soothing Repairing Protective Anti-Mark Care creme" to arrive. As he said its fragrance free, it might be a better fit!

Do all the SVR sun secure products have the same kind of fragrance? The one on sun secure face fluid was awful! Too strong. If it’s the same, I will probably give the range a pass.
