Look at the games after linsanity. Starting from Houston. The other players took a ton of cheap shots add him. Refs were swallowing their whistle when they would've blown the whistle for anyone else. Flagrant fouls would be called regular fouls just for him... It was crazy. THAT'S why his career was clipped short. That's why he couldn't go hard. That's why he kept getting hurt. Very few people have the superhuman “Mamba” mentality. Kobe was just a very special example of an insane work ethic. Doesn’t take anything away from Nick Young though. He encouraged a teammate to play better AND he wasn’t afraid to talk some trash back. Furthermore, he dominated the Spurs the very next game.
