In this clip, Nick Young shares a story with DJ Vlad about a time when the late Kobe Bryant, made him and all of their teammates remove their "Kobe" shoes in the locker room, during a blowout loss to Portland because they "didn't deserve to wear them." From there, he shares a story about him and Kobe going at it during practice after exchanging trash talk with one another. Moving along, he talks about the classic "You guys are soft like Charmin," line from Kobe Bryant and what inspired those words. Later on, he talks about debuting Kobe's new shoes, wearing Yeezy 350 shoes and being mentioned in "Facts" by Kanye West.

His reaction to Kobe and those incidents really tells the story about how he felt about him and it really validates a lot about Kobe as a player and as a teammate. I think Kobe went a little bit overboard but I can get why he did to a certain degree. Playing with guys like Nick Young would just drive Kobe mad because it's clear that the dude still immature and doesn't take anything seriously.

Still don’t understand how they let Kobe helicopter take flight that day. From what I heard on the news all other aircraft’s stayed grounded because of the fog, but they gave Kobe the green light with a pilot was a record of being drunk.
