Speaker Summary: Dr. Iyer was in the first group of students to join Swami's Institute of Higher Learning in Puttaparthi in 1979, and he was instrumental in starting the now renowned sports meet that is held every year in January. As with all students of those times, he had innumerable occasions to be close to Swami and to learn from His direct divine presence. He had the special privilege being one of Swami's personal attendants for several years during his student days. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a doctorate degree in Banking and Finance, he taught in Swami's university until 1994. Since end of 2011, a few months after Swami attained Mahasamadhi, Sunder Iyer gave up his job and have dedicated his life completely to spreading Sanathana Dharma, Vedanta and Yoga.
