Today, Bobby bids farewell to the short lived 865 loader. Tim Bowling ended up buying it. He also bought Dave's old loader.

I wasn't and still am not a big television fan yet Swamp Loggers caught my attention and I hate that the Goodson family, as well as many others had to end up being a victim of these good for nothing politrickians. I've never been political yet have witnessed first hand what these sabotagers have done being former military, truck driver o/o and pulp mill employee for International Paper Pine Bluff, AR., facility. Best wishes and fortune to all affected. Here's one of my favorite quotes that regarding these pathetic legislators and federal executives.... "When stupidity is considered patriotism, it is unsafe to be intelligent." Sir Isaac Asimov

Sir, I want to thank you for teaching me (through your shows) how to be a better employer, and over all, a better person. Bobby, you have stood firm on your beliefs and faith no matter what was "popular" on TV at the time. At this moment, there are 535+ comments from people like myself, that are not only supportive, but are praying for you and yours. Not too shabby for a country boy from North Carolina, Huh? God Bless, Sir... and Thank You.

You guys are more than amazing people, you logged in impossible environments successfully 👍. You guys are what every single logging company around the world have tried to measure up to , you set the bar anyone in the industry big and small would say that if asked. We have a small logging company in michigan, we select cut specific species for small and medium sized mills around here. I wouldn't have ever thought to start this business if not for swamp loggers . I don't think we've ever missed an episode, I think my wife has some of them memorized from me watching them so much over the years, you are such an inspiration the whole crew. I wish we could give back to you all that we got . Thank you ( the johnston family 👪 )

Thank you for being inspiration to me Bobby. I watched the show as kid and have always been blown away at what ya'll have accomplished. Living in Pennsylvania we'd never dream of trying to work the ground you have for more years then I've been alive. You started logging when I was 5 years old. And Justin should be passing the business down long after your gone. But that's of no fault of your own. And like my grandfather with his trucking company you went out on your terms. Enjoy retirement spend time with your family you earned it. And thank you for entertaining us for all these years.
