The first ballet I ever saw was the Birmingham royal ballet doing swan lake. I was 6 years old and to this day swan lake is my all time favourite ballet. I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you were to me and I hope you can continue inspiring people. 💕

Техника великолепна, но одухотворенности, артистизма- 0. Танцуют, как роботы. Нельзя так танцевать русский балет на русскую музыку! Танец дрессированных лебедей!

А я сейчас сравнила с видео из “Bolshoi” :) так я наоборот подумала, что у Бермингемцев настоящее актерское решение - и выражения лиц и движение и даже нестандартный ритм нагнетает тревожность, зритель понимает что если милые пушистые лебедята выглядят сурово и да, вы совершенно верно заметили - двигаются неумолимо как какие то автоматы из фильма ужастика, то хэппи энда (как было в Советской версии Озера, не знаю как сейчас) хэппи энда не будет. А в Большом сделали нам красиво, как говорят… Но танцевать правильно можно выучить талантливого ученика, а вот для актерской интерпретации образа - тут уже мысль постановщика . Классический балет не равняется сохранению пыльных традиций, театр не музей, а иллюзия жизни на сцене. Как то так.
