Swarovski crystal figurine collection, over 840 figurines (introducing crystal butterfly aquarium)

Here's a combination of filled promises: showing the new items since last my uploads, showing the entire collection in one video, and using my iPhone instead of a crappy pocket cam. With your usual dose of bad English, dust and never-ending supply of "umm". Two corrections: the new lion cub is the one in the front, not the one in the back, and the larger of the two SCS joining/renewal swans is new. Probably forgot to mention some other new items as well.
Collection shortly: I received my first Swarovski figurine in 1997, and my current husband bought me one in 1999, then started buying them as presents and it eventually snowballed when I started buying them actively online ten or twelve years ago - before that we were limited to what Finnish jewellery stores kept in stock. I'm a bit picky and I only collect items that please my eye. Currently my collection has somewhere around 850 "crystal creations", although some of these contain more than one figurine. We do have other collections, but this is one of my favourite collections.

It will be perfect if you custom made a proper display cabinet, since u already spent so much on swarovski crystal.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I prefer my own shelves. Not buying a glass display cabinet is not about money, I use many times that for my other collections. It's about the fact that I detest modern glass cabinets, and I don't collect to suit the taste of others.

I have mine in one of the larger hallways, but a collection room is a good idea. The best place to start your shopping is at www.swarovski.com/ and your local jewellery retailer if they sell Swarovski, then other collectors online for retired pieces. :) Good luck!

I was curious if you could please possibly help me with some information about a couple of your roses, approximately 8 minutes into the video, where you show your blossoming red rose. You have two that are to the right of it. Would you be able to tell me which item numbers they are? I really want one but I want to get the correct ones. I really like the color of yours and I am hoping you can help! 😊

Have you tried window cleaner on the aquarium?

Yep. And many other things as well. It's been used for various purposes over the years: the first owner used it as an aquarium. I used it for certain orchids and when it stopped leaking water, to raise mealworms for insectivorous birds. By the time I was done with it, it was in such a shape that I think the only way to make it neat again would be to use a large hammer and make some modern glass art. :P

I don't understand why you don't have them in a mirrored cabnet. If displayed a bit more creatively, the beauty would jump out.

Because the house shakes when a larger freight train passes. Glass/crystal shaking and/or striking against glass breaks more easily than glass against wooden surface. Another reason is a personal preference: I like dark wood and detest large mirrored surfaces, led-lights and glass shelves. Some like those, I don't.

@@KMLautanen I get it. Perhaps consider using something like paper or fabric on the bottom of shelf, and have the wood all around. I'm only saying because they may pop better in videos. You have a beautiful collection, thanks for sharing it!

Thanks, but I'll pass :) I don't collect just to take videos, the videos are just a side-product of passionate collecting, and I'd prefer to give them up rather than my collection! In 2022, when I recorded the quarterly-annual updates, I placed everything on white sheets of paper to show them off, but shelves can remain the way they are.

Ah, unfortunately my collection isn't for sale, and when I have extras, I can't sell outside my own country due to incompatibility of payment system and super-high shipping cost. I recommend browsing eBay for retired pieces, there are plenty of good bargains to be had. There's also a nice and friendly Facebook group called "The Global Swarovski figure Collectors Club" where you can find many nice pieces for sale from every corner of the globe. :)
