Your stories of swat enemy force remind me of my time doing the same in the infantry, best tasking I have ever had and would love to do that stuff full time. Training the actual guys going in, I'm too injured to actually do the house clearing stuff anymore. This video definitely changed my opinion on SWAT completely! I've been wanting to be a part of SWAT for like 5 years now, and yes this sounds like a lot of fun but when it comes down to the wire only a few will get past nerves and go into action.

I am dead set on SWAT. I have done some training with my police explorer post along with the SWAT team and I had a blast. Its hard work though. Anyway great video, anything you got on SWAT I would love to hear it.

Hell yeah, thank you for the insight. I'm currently in the process of doing my polygraph and psych eval, followed by my back round check, and then hopefully on the way to the academy. I'm very interested in pursuing SWAT if given the opportunity, and all though i know you can't or don't really want to go into detail, i'm glad your honest about everything you do wish to share. I think it would be one of the best experiences of my life for sure, and a goal i really hope to accomplish. By the way keep up the great work with all of your videos!

3:30 training with paint rounds. When we trained at Fort Benning , GA in 2003 for basic Infantry training combat, the final FTX we had an exercise to respond to an ambush. The exercise was squad vs squad , we were not told it was going to be a shoot out but we were only giving blanks. When the exercise was over the drill sergeant told us good news guys that was the best response to an ambush in 7 years of being a Drill sergeant 12 cycles, bad news is they took away the rubber bullets or less lethal because they were to dangerous and privates were being hurt. We were shooting blanks at each other to train for a war where even cooks were going to have to patrol in a war zone.

I know an officer on the swat team they were doing building sweeps and bean bag training a fellow officer shot him in the back with the bean bag round as they were leaving to go home,he considered shooting him. Later on the same friend was serving a warrant him and a fellow officer was doing the break and rake, the window is a good four feet higher than they are so he shatters the window and the other guy drops in a flash bang,well unfortunately there is a bed directly below the window and the bang goes off and it catches the bed on fire.
