The Boston Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 to take a 3-1 series lead. James van Riemsdyk, Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak were the goal scorers for the Bruins. Mitch Marner was the lone goal scorer for the Maple Leafs. Jeremy Swayman continued his stellar play with 24 saves on 25 shots against. Ilya Samsonov made 14 saves on 17 shots against and was pulled after the 2nd period. Joseph Woll made 5 saves on 5 shots against. Who impressed you the most in this game?

Swayman has just dominated the Leafs. I saw that he has the 2nd highest save percentage in history of any goalie against the Leafs. With so much time between games, I say the Bruins should stick with Swayman over Ullmark.

agree. the ability to have rotating tendies is nice, but it's always right to stick with one if he's hot. And Swayman's standin on his head out there, doing his best Timmy T impression.

The Leafs are rotten 'to the core.' Domi and Bertuzzi have tried to raise their games, the core four are incapable of competing consistently with playoff-level hockey

Samsonov is 100% to blame for the second goal. He has no idea what is even happening around him, there's a very open Marchand to his left and he decides it's a good time to come out aggressively in the center. You have to know where the puck is and try to react yes but you also have to be aware of who is open and read it and he got is so hopelessly wrong, 100% his fault.

I think Swayman sits for game 5 and the B's go with Ullmark. The past 2 seasons they alternated goalies and it worked. The only time it didn't work was in the first round of the playoffs last season. Don't want to see Sway get burnt out, then have the team rely on Ullmark for a game 6, which could lead to a do or die game 7.

And thats why you sit Swayman for game 5. The B's lost and now are forced to go with Ullmark for game 6 in Toronto, and then a very possible game 7 back in Boston with Swayman.

I like Swayman a lot and he has played well, but he really hasn't been tested all that much. I chalk this up more to the Leafs playing like crap more than I do a goalie stealing games from them.

Pastrnak has not been quiet for the bruins lmao. Hes got 3 or 4 assists and 2 goals in the 4 games. He haasnt scored as many goals as we're used to seeing. But he hasnt been quiet

He has 4 points in 4 games which is fine but just doesn’t seem like his usual level of play. 2 goals and 2 assists. Not terrible but I think he can hit another gear

Pasta has 100% be quiet lol. Half his pts have came on empty nets and he is visibly frustrated.Going into game 4 he only had 2 shots on net at 5v5. Leafs have done a great job shutting him down
