Check if you can watch on SVT play, swedens broadcaster for some games of the tournament. You can watch atleast half of all games on there

The technical difference is interesting (or sad in my case) to see. Wagner doesn’t accelerate hard for his goal, yet is just sooo much faster than the austrian

These are kids remember, a guy took a puck to the face,blow it down. His teammates clearly looked concerned on the play rather than being involved in the upcoming sequence.

very interested to see the Sweden Czech game now Canada played a not very good game against the Czechs who totally deserve the win. Exposing some monster holes in Canada's game. Thought the Fins did that... we clearly did not fix the issues. Anyways. the question of the day is this. Is this team Canada just... that bad.... or is this team Czech....that good. The Sweden game should tell more. so i look forward to this. If the Swedes underestimate them like Canada did... Czechs could top this group.

Canada has so much talent in their team (as always) so I think they will bounce back quickly and eventually win the tournament. As a Swede I at least hope we can make it to the final. 👍😊

Австрийцам надо было за пару минут до конца игры заменить вратаря на шестого полевого игрока , и тогда они шведов порвали , как тузик грелку ( стебусь , конечно же ) , там на ЧМ нормальных сборных всего две - три команды

Huh? Junior hockey championship is a huge deal at least in Sweden. It's a Christmas/new years tradition to watch it. Probably more popular than even the senior world cup.

@@Mornomgir Potato potato. OK, technically it's not called "final tournament", but it's the tournament of the top division, so in theory the best of the best meet to play for top position. How is Austria part of the "best of the best"? This should be a tournament of 6 teams. Instead, it's padded with weak teams just to make the tournament longer and bring in more money, resulting in these mediocre games. Shame.

They would stay on the same competing level like their pears. Thats how nearly every sport in Europe grew. And sportseconomy in Europe is completely different than in NA. (I stop hear to keep the reply short)

Austria played well first period, were unlucky to be down, and had some good opportunities themselves. Regardless, one underdog getting trahsed hardly tells you much about the tournament as a whole with Canada and Finland losing to much smaller teams.

@dml Canadian hockey has ruled the hockey world too long anyway. Refs biased towards Canada, Canada getting the best treatment with scheduling, locker rooms etc. It's over
