Swedish instructor helps to train Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk region

Magnus is one of the foreign military instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His purpose is to save lives, he says in a commentary. Both fresh recruits and front line officers conduct drills with Magnus and share experience. Watch the footage of them training together on UATV English.

SE sends huge 💛💙 to NL for all of the sudden bringing out Patriot systems to provide - SE could not have done that! That was very impressive. (and most of SE trainers are in the UK actually, "a Magnus" being there was a bit of a surprise)

I can't imagine what those guys must be thinking. Wanting to defend their country. Worried about family. Wondering if they'll be able to do what they need to when the time comes. I'm glad they're getting legitimate training and are being sent back to a country that values their life and health. I hope that with the resources that Ukraine has and will receive and with the bravery, cunning and determination of its people, that they'll quickly recover their lands.

Ukraine has been in a big war for more than a year consequently Ukraine's military has accumulated huge experience in waging war. How long ago did Sweden had a war? Hard even to say. What Swedish could teach Ukrainians therefore? This looks ridiculous.

I do not get if you are insulting or endorsing the name Magnus[1] - it is one of my own. If you are insulting it - then I challenge to Claw-Plach[2]!!! [1] "Magnus is a boy's name with Latin origins. In Latin, this name is a direct translation meaning “greatest”. Magnus is a popular name throughout Scandinavia and was first introduced to the region by the Norwegian king," [2] "Claw-Plach is a Decapodian ceremony used to decide issues of honor and whether or not abbreviations count in scrabble. Indeed, it really is assuring that these trainees are in very good hands of very well qualified instructors that they SHOULD BE GLAD they are receiving the best *life of death survival instruction to liquidate orcs. *Ukraine ENTIRE soldiers in all level SHOULD NOT be train like *oh orcs are coming in wave after, wave after wave, and wave and wave, SO WHAT? Doing Ukraine National Duty is keeping on eliminate, eliminate, liquidate, liquidate n eliminate, etc. keep at it and that should be the attitude!

I have nothing bad to say about my countrymen who go to Ukraine to help but you have to forgive me for blaming my nation for not cared about the military BEFORE all of this happened with Ukraine and Russia. If we had cared we should have more to send to Ukraine today. I may hate Donald Trump and think that the most he say is just stupid but he at least was right about mocking us europeans for not spend on our militarys. Few of us do not have to feel shame among them our neighbor Finland who realy impressing with their wery strong military compared to their small population. But at least i can feel proud for men like Magnus in this clip, at least something.

Sweden have been in Irak, Afghanistan, and more then 6 countrys in Africa! The last 20 years! Many soldiers in Ukraine are fighting in WW1 style because that what Russia knows, West are trying to help Ukraine fight like the west and if they do Russia will have no chance!

During war time the experienced Ukrainian officers are busy at the front. As foreign troups can't engage in the war directly they can help with training of new recruits.

In Iraq and Afghanistan you fought amateurs with rifles and in Afghanistan you suffered shameful defeat. What reckless stupidity is after that messing with a world nuclear power! Russia defeated Osman Empire, it defeated Carl XII then "great Napoleon" then it defeated united Europe led by fascist Germany. How do you say "Russia will have no chance"? 51 countries have united against Russia in Ukraine and Russia not only successfully withstands, but also makes some advance. Learn history properly.

Hah, no wars but we dominate in military excersises my friend. If we aren't sinking USA carriers with our stealth sub we're doing something else badass - in military excersise scenarios:) Jokes aside, we have a shitload of qualified people like Magnus here.. Training noobs doesn't require experience of being a hot warzone. Cheers

Swedish military has one of the best training what so ever in all categories and been made very clear they know what they are doing several times outside Sweden.

Training is not operations. With respect real training can only come from battle experience. I would make the same comment about the British Army, our last experience of "Ukraine type" war was the Falklands 41 years ago so there will be nobody in service who fought then.@@yamahaevo
