Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing these in English. I like how slowly you enunciate each word so that I can copy and understand the proper way to say a Swedish word. :)

You’re definitely the best teacher I’ve ever come across for learning Swedish, especially sentence structures! I tried learning it from websites and with other videos, but I found them too confusing. Glad I came across your channel. :) Tack så mycket för hjälpen.

I'm just wondering. Is bisatsinledare the same thing as subordinating conjunction? by the way, your lessons helps a lot in beginners like me in trying to understand the Swedish language better and to learn it faster other than just knowing words. :)

Yes, another word in swedish is "underordnad konjunktion"

I cannot find the information I need. Are or how is the comma used in Swedish language? Tack så mycket!
@petersfi60892 жыл бұрын
We use comma but quite sparingly. Usually only to mark the start and end of a secondary clause. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q8thepd5tdWRnIU.html

That word order actually exists in the southern US. "I'm learnin' me somethin'.", for example.

Thank you Peter. Could you please say, how serious/noticeable/bad would be a mistake of saying "När skolan slutar jag går hem" instead of the correct one "När skolan slutar går jag hem"? Is this going to be something that would immediately hurt Swedish people's ears, or it's wrong but not that big a deal (in case I make a mistake because obviously this "pronoun after verb" rule is a bit uncommon for Russian and English speakers)?
@petersfi60892 жыл бұрын
Well, a mistake like that will definitly out you as an immigrant. :) No native speaker will make that error. However, it´s not a huge mistake. It will not change the meaning of the scentence in any way. I know a lot of people that still struggles with reverse scentences after many years in Sweden.

Imagine somebody saying "When school is ending go I home" Same meaning. The conversation-partner other one will understand you even. But one is twlling everybody that he is a beginner in learnikg the language, maybe as a tourist, a student from abroad or an immigrant. But I think Swedes have gotten more used to this kind of situation.

Good day sir peter. Does it mean that the subordinate clause will only come in the place of an adverbial category? Or it could come in the object category or in another place in the sentense? Thanks in advance.
@petersfi60893 жыл бұрын
It could be an object or a subject aswell when you use "att" or "som". Ex. "Jag tycker att grammatik är roligt." or "Min kompis som bor i Stockholm ska gifta sig."
