I can't recall ever witnessing ANY other guitarist nail this solo so accurately DURING AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE the way you do Tom. SPECTACULAR JOB!!! Not even Steve Gaines could get this solo down........not even close. ( and Steve was no doubt the most talented of any guitarist who ever worked with Skynyrd, plus he could sing amazingly well to boot ) I would love to see/hear you take on another Ed King/Skynyrd song that is even more difficult to cop Ed's licks.......and that song is "Working for MCA". The solo and even the runs that Ed played throughout MCA have got to be some of the most difficult licks known. Very discreet & deceptive.........I say "deceptive" because when one listens VERY carefully, and then attempts to play them accurately.......it will leave them flabbergasted. But I'm sure you've already conquered it Tom!!! Would love to see you demonstrate in an actual performance........much like this video. Cheers!!!
