Titan and Bahamut Arisen is the "easiest" of the combo boss fights on Gilgamesh Island. It's still pretty difficult as they can each mete out a ton of damage, but just focus on Bahamut first and you should be able to make it through!
To access GIlgamesh Island, you first need to complete all of the Phenomenon Intel quests throughout the world. To access these fights, you'll need to complete all the Divine Intel quests throughout the world in order to level the summons up.

For everyone saying "this must be on easy mode, you're lying", I reloaded my level 50 save and did the fight again. In this video, I show my full equipment and materia setup, as well as proof that it's on normal mode. Titan does use Earthen Fury in this run, but Bahamut never uses his ultimate attack. Nah lol, I didn't get hit with Gigaflare at all. Earthen Fury once I think, but a pray with Aerith and you're chilling.

Hearing you say is not that hard compared to the other fights is gutting me lol I'm getting whooped in this fight. From every guide I have seen everyone always focuses on Bahamut first but when I do that then Titan immediately pops up his attack and wipes my party. It doesn't happen when I target Titan.

The enemy balance in this game is pretty shocking tbh some enemy’s are brain dead and then some just one shot you out of the blue kinda cheap pretty dissapointing

Did the 3 summon battles at level 49. This was by FAR the hardest one for me. They hit hard and are aggressive. Took like 10 tries

You should reread the assessment in that fight. They do use ultimates, and the particles disappear after synergy skills and abilities

Because he does use his ultimate. The only way he won't is if you use it on easy mode, he just does transform alone on easy mode. This video is misleading.

1st try on Dynamic difficulty at level 49!! Out of all the fights, this one was too easy lol. Had barret and tifa focus on keeping bahamut busy while i solo'd titan with cloud. Synergies, perfect parries, Haste, and Regen with Magnify are your best friends here

This is definitely not an easy fight. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but you seem to be lucky. I spent 45 minutes fighting only to have Bahamut use Gigaflare on me and wipe out my team. I can't express how frustrated I am with this. Thanks for the video, though. The other one you did gave me some ideas and kept me alive the longest.

I just beat this on hard mode and it took me about 2-3 hours to beat but i eventually got it done. I had to kill Titan first, he was just way easier to take down

I'm not kidding but I managed to beat all three summon fights and gilgamesh...at level 50...on dynamic...first try on each. I don't know how but I did it. Luck was on my side as Bahamut and Odin never used their ultimates, I didn't take down Phoenix first and ended up having to defeat Kajuta twice and for Gilgamesh when I staggered him hit him with all three of my character's limits which I saved for the stagger. Still each battle had me constantly healing with materia and the items I had stockpiled. Up until this point in the game I've gotten by with healing with magic to make it through fights. Definitely use magnify + healing in order to heal multiple targets at once. All that's left is the musclehead fights and the brutal/legend combat sims but I'll tackle that once I'm 60 or higher. Heading to complete the game now and gonna try out Gilgamesh's summon for the final battle, see how it does.

As long as Phoenix has that red flare attached to someone else (kujata in this case) he can't be damaged so regardless you'd have to kill kujata twice unless you can stop him from using rebirth flame

First try on dynamic difficulty! Focusing on bahamut really helps and making sure to use synergy abilities on bahamut will pressure him!

Got this on lvl 47. Used Cloud/Barret/Red. You definitely want to have Lifesaver and Watcher’s Respite at hand if you want to keep your butt alive.

Just did this fight yesterday. It’s honestly that easy. Pro-Tip. Focus Titan instead of Bahamut. When Bahamut charges just break his wings and he will never use Gigaflare. Just like his summon fight

This is so crazy. I did this differently lvl 50 dynamic with cloud tifa aerith with tifa lead. I just stacked her damage to 400+ gave her to atb staggers, almost mastered atb boost, wind element melee damage and just had tifa solo titan first building unbridled strength to 3 and just parryed Titans melee attacks. Aerith had magnify cleansing for particals and cloud had magnify healing maxed. Two staggers kolled totan then we focused bahamut. Stagger once then second time he was at a pixle health about tl do ultimate but i beat him. Got my arise materia and now going for alexander odin. Wish me luck.

if you use tifa and stagger one of em, cast stop on them, and spam unbridled strength you can crush just about anything in one stagger cycle

The reason bahamut isn't using his ultimate attack after charging is because you're playing this on easy mode. I know you wrote somewhere that this was on normal mode, but based on that, the damage you're taking, and the damage the enemies are causing to you at your claimed level I am 99% certain you played this on easy mode.

I really don't know why people are convinced this is on easy difficulty. I kept up with the armor crafting as it became available in the game, constantly grinded out the weapon abilities, and had decent materia setups. If you watch my Odin + Alexander fight, you can plainly see that I get my ass kicked for 20 minutes. This is just the easiest encounter out of the three on the island.

Titan managed to get Earthen Fury off, but it didn't do much damage. For some reason, Bahamut became invincible for a little while after that. Never saw that happen before, but Titan never regained the shield so I was able to kill him quick and then finish off Bahamut. Bahamut never used his ultimate.

Just a TON of misinformation here idk where to begin… ULTS - Bahamut and Titan ABSOLUTELY WILL USE THEIR ULTS. Homie must be playin on easy mode cause these guys stayed wiping my party with their signature moves if I took to long. PARTICLE - Bahamuts debuff is cleansed from using Synergy abilities and Skills NOT ATB abilities. It even says so right in the Assess menu. OP prolly didn’t notice cause he does a good job spamming the Synergy abilities but you can use the Synergy SKILLS for free! They also have the added benefit of Pressuring Bahamut whenever you use them. Yes Bahamut Arisens weakness is the power of Friendship! UMBRAL BOMBARDMENT - skill issue, Very easy to dodge, just put some space between you and Bahamut so you actually have room to dodge the attacks, gitgud SHIELDS - the 2 of them never regenerated their shields when I did the fight again if it dragged to long than they just wiped my party with ultimates. Again must be different mechanics for a lower difficulty. Titan - Bring Aero materias Aerora can take huge chunks out of his shield, he’s weak to it as well so Issa good way to Pressure him and build that stagger gauge. Also make sure to activate and Wind Style ninjutsu. And cast faith on Yuffie. OP does a TERRIBLE job of piloting Yuffie but Win style Ninjutsu combos with Doppelgänger active will MELT Titans Shield and HP bar. Hope this ACTUALLY helps

@SweetJohnnyCage Phoenix and Kujata took me 3 tries, but I had elemental materia at level 2. That was a god send in that fight. For Aerith, I gave her elemental armor with fire and Ice, making her damn near undamagable.

I Nuked bahamuth first. This worked better than focussing on titan. Bahamuth uses his ultimate if he's living too long. Btw : my group is Yuffie Cloud Red XIII

Agree, put in 100 hours and was trying to do everything, got through a lot of the stupid mini games but some of the BS is just ridiculous. It's starting to sour my enjoyment, so it was at this point i just decided to focus on finishing the story and not letting it taint my enjoyment.

@SweetJohnnyCage I just beat it at level 52 normal mode n beat phoenix n khujata now I'm stuck on Odin n Alexander I'm on chapter 13 havnt started story yet on this chapter i wanted to finish this first bit looks like I might have to I almost beat Odin I was able to survive his first finisher with arith level 2 limit but he did a second one at the end he had a quarter left of healt Alexander was dead I had it but ugh this is tough

@@SweetJohnnyCage I was playing while watching this, at lvl 50. You were taking damage in the 100-200s. I was taking damage in the 700-1000s AND they used their ultimates. So either you don’t you’re playing on easy or you’re lying🤷🏻‍♂️ (or it’s possible you’re on dynamic and the game decided to take it incredibly easy on you)

what armor and accessories are you using? That's an insane amount of damage to be taking. I'm playing on normal, believe me haha. I don't play games on easy and dynamic difficulties tend to annoy me, since it removes the power fantasy of going back to early game areas and feeling powerful. @@TheJuicestainsla

I call bullshit, your game was either bugged or youre playing on easy mode. If I focused on Bahamut, Titan used his ultimate which does 4k damage which mostly wipes out all hp of the 3. If I focus on Titan, Bahamut used gigaflare which does 7k damage which non of my characters at level 48 have. If I take turns trying to stagger both enemies, they both used their God damn ultimates.

@@SweetJohnnyCage My only other thought could be.... Maybe they patched it since the upload of your video, so the enemies do use their ultimates? It is kinda weird that in the other 2 battles that enemies use the ultimates, but didn't for this one. Another possibility is they might have meant for this to only be possible at level 70 so all party members have much higher stats, because once I beat this on easy difficulty all the level 70 challenges opened up for Chadleys combat simulator.
