As the day comes to a close, M15 continues to excel in his solo parenting providing food for his offspring and still spending time with them at the end of the day. M15 is seen on the U branch after just delivering another bird to the nest. After eating, E21 heads up the branch and squees at Dad but then quickly calms down and is content to just have him home in the nest tree. What a beautiful sight to see E21 and Dad together like this. E22 is on the nest squeeing and E21 will fly back down to get the last nestovers. E22 then heads up the outer attic to see Dad and mantles & squees at him! M15 is so calm and cool -he just ignores E22. Soon E22 calms down and just has that special quiet time with Dad. E21 will head to the attic and they both will watch M15 fly off for the evening. They track his flight across the street and keep watching the sky until he disappears to his nightly roosting place. It tugs at your heart strings to see them watching Dad fly away as we know that their time together will be coming to a end soon. That is why these moments are so special and soon they will be the memories we will cherish.
