E22 certainly loves being at the pond!! In fact, E22 was at the pond several times throughout the day enjoying this new found freedom that fledging brings! E22 does some cute bottom dips and playing with sticks before taking a quick soak in the water. E22 will then head up the bank and fly over to the fence while the horses are grazing in the pasture. The last eaglet of our beloved Pond Queen Harriet, who so loved a good splash and bath, is enjoying it as much as she did. I love seeing the playfulness as E22 learns about water and sticks and other fun things. Hopefully E21 is somewhere close and just camera shy, but learning and thriving in the ways we can see with E22.🙏🏻💕🦅

It is such a joy to watch him at the pond! When he was playing with the big stick I thought E21 needs to fly in so she can play with the big wonky stick too, just like they did in the nest. Praying E21 is safe and we will see her beautiful face soon.

I remember E19 and E20 hanging around at the pond. They practiced picking up sticks with their talons. E22 is such a darling eaglet!

Harriet and M bred some exemplary offspring. They were all mostly healthy and had vibrant personalities. I do miss Harriet. I know we all do.

@19:34, E22 is bullied by a horse and duck and it flew away to its favorite relaxing spot on the fence! Both horse and duck were confused as to who spooked the eaglet (apparently, both of them did not see E22 until it flew away) but the duckie was pretty much confident that it was her and swam back with an air of pride to narrate the story to its family!!

I wasn't sure if E22 was going surfing or skateboarding. S/he is so precious. I'm hoping when Dad is gone for hours he is taking care of E21. It would really be nice to see E21 and E22 playing at the pond together. This is one of my favorite videos with E22 playing in the pond! He tries to grab that stick/board and surf? Lol. He is enjoying his freedom and learning skills around the nest tree. Those owls can not run him off….he is going to stick around dad (my hero) and learn what it takes! Thank you for always giving us these great videos! Everything E22 is doing is a lesson learned such as grabbing wood with talons and pretending to eat it, most important I believe is after a nice cool refreshing dip now he will know he cannot fly right away until he becomes an excellent flyer like dad.

Sweet fun in the pond! 🏝And already trying to learn to fly w/sticks for future. Sure wish E21 was here playing too. 🫤I read others say somebfledglings come back right away, some return just days later & others leave & never return. Maybe E21 hangs out by main river/waterway instead...away from owl attacks & wherever M15 hangs out most of time. Just trying to be hopeful. 🙏 Enjoying learning about eagles & ellies (elephants). Fascinating, educational, & wholesome. 🙂Take care out there! 🌷
