Love your new van 💜 We do use the curtains in ours when it's very cold it keeps the warmth in really well. Looking forward to watching your future adventures. If we don't see you before we will see you in Spain at Christmas 😁💜xx

We have a 665 of a similar age and have had her 5 years this year. We love her, she's called the Mac Shack! We have done similar things to ours led strip lights,diesel heater and my soft furnishings were all boring beigh so I made some new curtains for mine. We are full time too and I did think of getting rid of them but on a bitter night I put the blinds up and draw the curtains and it does help with the cold. The weakest link in the van re.cold is the cab and we intend to insulat ours for next year but on a freezing night I do internal blinds, cab curtains and the tuck a couple thick thermal curtains under the matress across the bulk head to keep the warm in and the cold out. That was a ‘flashy’ start…made our eyes boggly 🤣🤣 Great van tour, and you certainly have done enough to get you offgrid. Throw out the microwave for sure, and agree about the curtains to be changed. It’s a smart motorhome, great size for fulltiming in it….although right now we have winds of +50mph…so it’s not so much fun being fulltime today 🤣👍😍x

Like your Van Tour, My wife Jacqui and myself have only just bought ourselves a motorhome and have plans for many adventures, including the Nland250. Our MH is a 19 yrs old Benima Perseo 710CC but it is in brilliant condition with only 23500 on the clock. Probably needs quite a few modifications but very happy with it.

@@FieldviewAdventures We aren’t too sure which layout we want. Obviously struggling too because we want newer than what we can afford. Our max is £30k. Fixed bed seems better than keep making beds up but then one of you always has to climb over the other if you need to get up in the night. So many options and questions it’s difficult to know where to even start😀

@@carolknott3276 we decided that the rear lounge was more important for living space rather than a large garage and fixed bed( although both would be good😅) with there being 3 of us and we also had to look at the best way to give zak his own space with him shortly becoming a teenager! You have to decide what aspects are more important for you in a van and go from there x

Love the Kontiki 🥰 great van😍 the modifications you’ve done to it are brilliant and will really help you, we also have two toilet cassettes and a second one is invaluable when your off grid 👍 😊 not sure about the shoe situation can you fit something to the inside of the wardrobe door 🤔 can’t wait to catch up with you all 🥰 Christmas in Spain definitely sounds like a plan!! @@FieldviewAdventures hi mate a did it and it wudnt av got one them maxpeeding rods once but don’t have nuth to pump frew all ductwork a spent bout 30/40 quid on pipe and connections was a waist of time and money mate av put mine so it’s to one outlet blowing down middle of motor home works well mate 👌

I’m originally from Doncaster and living near Retford atm . I’m actually a heavy plant fitter by trade . It’s a big decision but one we’ve given lots of thought to 😀

Hi mate. Brilliant vid as always. Hoping you or viewers can help me out. I’ve got a 2018 swift and recently coming back from Yorkshire to Manchester my engine warning light came on. I phoned the aa out and he done a diagnostic to tell me it was my acceleration pedal sensor.he deleted everything and said just take the a roads and get your self home .so I rang my mobile Machanic once I arrived home as the light came again. He came out and put the computer on to tell me it’s my brake sensor and he couldn’t do it for a few weeks. I decided to buy a diagnostic and I’ve plugged it in and received a code of po482. This means cooling fans ????? I’ve been on internet and you need to check a few things, Ie: Relays Wiring to fans Fans are working I’m really reaching out as I don’t know what to do Can anyone help please

Hi Anthony , the problem with some of the cheap code readers they won’t pick up all the faults , I get someone with a decent code reader to scan it again personally to see what comes up , what problems did u find when the light come on ?
