Why do I see people give up the stranglehold of the game. If I were supanox in this game I would not sell any property until there was any other real threats on the board. Lets say I had either the railroads, or lets say the browns, and some other properties. I would then not give up my sure win. Not until there was any other real threats 🙂

'kay, maybe if I watch you guys I can learn some tips and tricks of the trade to finally win a game. My friends that I play with enjoy playing with house rules (taxes/fines go to center > free parking jackpot, that sort of thing) and I've got no issue with that. My problem is trying to win when two of them constantly team up to deliberately screw me over, and they give each other free passes on rent occasionally. I struggle with making trades early on and once you throw in one really stubborn player on top of the other two and it becomes a nightmare. Side note: How do you make the best of the green properties? I usually get stuck with those.

I hate the greens. I think they work best tho when you have the money to build it up ($1000+) and people are in line to hit them right away. It’s tough since statistically those properties don’t get hit as much as the others.

@@jeremylongworth6566 It's seriously tough. I usually end up mortgaging whatever property I think will get hit the least of the 3 if I'm low, doesn't work out too well with those particular properties.

I was very surprised at the way this game went. I didn't know it was possible for a game to be worse than the last one with the greens being given away for free.

@Great Dane Supanox completely had the game in the beginning but he basically threw it by giving away property and creating threat for minimum gain. He only won by sheer luck.
