Agree with all you said. We live in Texas so the pool is used alot, it is a luxury, I do all the maintenance myself. I like to think of it as a labor of love.

This man speaks the truth. I love the pool and use it everyday when it's open but I'll never buy a home with a pool again. It's like having a car payment that never ends if you average the costs over the years.

Great points. I'd also recommend to go with a reputable established builder, preferably one that also has a weekly cleaning service (even if you will be DIY). Reason being is they do routine service on what they build, and know best practices for plumbing and equipment. I've seen pools with incorrect/undersized plumbing and obscure brands of equipment on new pool installs. Homeowner has no idea what they bought.

Hello sir, I've been watching your videos when I was trying to research on innovative additives in cement for several purposes/specific purpose for our Experimental Research. Can I ask you a question, what do you think can be easily conducted by highschool students as Experimental Research about additives in concrete in an innovative way. Our research is about Shredded plastic waste as additive in concrete but our teacher said it wasn't innovative enough, so I was thinking of another additive that should we add without ruining the mixture of shredded plastic in concrete, I was thinking of shredded glass but it may be costly 😅. What do you think can be another best additive in shredded plastic waste in cement as ecoblock?
