The handle bar clamps are deliberitly cast like that . Its in the mould. Its called orange peel

Great video & commentary. Looking for commuter bike. Will definitely take one for a road test. Price range makes it very attractive in comparison to the KTM 690. Thankyou for posting. Cheers .

Also should mention only a 12 month warranty as opposed to a DRZ400 or KTM 690 SMC R, which both give you 24 month manufacturer warranty. I'd like to know how these go over an extended period of time.

Sounds like a good deal. Its strange to be in Vietnam and see you riding around roads I know well behind A1. Test road the last bike I bought from A1 on the same streets, they are the obvious choice ;>)

Can you do the butterfly mod on them to fix the responsiveness like you can do on the 449 and 511

IAmTicTac456 the design is taken from the period where Husqvarna was designed and built by MV Agusta, whereas the 449 and 511 are BMW. Any common mod that suits the Husqvarna 630 will suit the SWM 650.

What's that little lever on the left for? Was test-riding it and couldn't get a clear answer from the dealer.. I see you used it to start a reluctant engine...

andrew8502 looks are subjective. The design is solid, but as mentioned, sticker kits are plentiful.
