Hi , my 2.5 year old suddenly got pain in right hip with minimal movement. We had a doctor appointment and he screened with blood test, ultrasound, xray .. in blood test he has 70 as a esr result and xray was normal and in ultrasound he has 2.1 mm clear fluid formation. Doctor told synovitis and we are taking treatment now..he is taking naprosyn 500 and getting better last week wen went for checkup ,his esr was 45, its been a month now. Am really worried

My son has left and right knee swollen (to different degree). He was throwing up over the weekend with a low fever to close the weekend. Has a runny nose now and has been diagnosed with toxic synovitis. Does this sound correct? Your information was reassuring as we were concerned about juvenile arthritis but he has relatively no pain when using the knees and all his range of motion with a little inflammation in the hips
