@@kykk3365 Uh, "Silence Is Violence" sounds a lot like "War Is Peace, Slavery Is Freedom, Ignorance Is Strength." Every cable news show exists exactly like the two-minutes hate. They track and collect everyone's information and movements and whereabouts, a la the telescreen. They erase or modify history regularly to fit their definitions of the day. This is exactly like 1984, the book. Must I go on? They constantly change the countries we're at war with. They single you out and shout you down if you're the wrong political bent. And the ToS is always changing, given that they take different perspectives on new topics and make them Anathema.

People hate Trump exactly because he is an oppressor. Yes, music can bring people together, but not when they are being killed off by their elected leaders. That's when music and art rises up to fight against oppression and fascism. Turn off Fox News and read a fucking history book. Clearly, you have no idea how many songs from the 60s you love that are full-on political, protest songs. Snap out of it, the weather is fine over here in reality.

Great stuff, the vid gives me the same kinda creepy i got from the Legion Series on FX. If I could only get Noah Hawley to direct one of my vids, hehe. Love the clean guitar tone too, it's so familiar yet I can't recall anyone using it before. Like a tone you get from doing all the stuff they tell you not to do, but feels good. Thanks for being bold. I don't believe there is anything political about our current dimension. If our reality decides to be a cruel joke, our art will of course be sane and rational, and more honest than the so called truth it satires. There are demons in all men. Facing them in others helps face the ones within the self. And gone unchecked creates demi gods that validate all the lesser demons. A symbol for a patrician class. The fraternity of summers eve.

@Bilbo Flappers Well, I think the ironic thing is that you've got people pretending that one side hates free speech and is the end of all freedom, while the other side is literally trying to shut down their right to even speak, in the first place. And "superstition and darkness" seems to exactly describe people literally changing their lives because the Media says so over something they probably never saw in their lives. At this point, they could literally tell you it's raining out, and you'd have people going outside in coats in the sun.

Thank you for this comment and your perceptive ears! I purposely wanted the EP quite varied, represents the jumble of emotions and thoughts we've all been experiencing of late. Everything on this EP is me, no one else anywhere. What you are hearing on Too Many Thoughts is the wonderful and highly addictive plug-in from soundtoys called "little alter boy." It can change the "formant" of your voice, which is not the pitch, but more of the character or throat shape of one's voice. I wanted my voice to slowly and subtly change over the course of the song as a reference to the identity crisis the lyrics talk about.

I dated a genuine narcissistic sociopath. Truly, a man with no empathy, not just like, he jilted me what a jerk, he has a notion of grandiosity about himself, lemme call him names. He was referred to as "dangerous" by people who evaluated him and he loved that, it was fodder for broadcast and boasting, as were many of the negative things he heard about himself. He could spin ANYTHING. I haven't forgotten what kind of fragile, dangerous person has his hands on the nuclear codes and just pray that something stops him if he gets really triggered one day. There is nothing more dangerous than a humiliated man with no empathy. Thanks for this ray of light at a time like this, Ken. I hope i get to see you play again one day soon

I'm really interested by some of the biblical references I've noticed in some of your solo work. Any chance you came up Pentecostal as well?

Been listening to killing joke ken? 😁 If there is a moment in time to write about politics is right here and now there is so much shit going on in the world to talk to ...so keep doing it ! The people who ask you to not talk about politics they forgot you are a cityzen of your country too and you have the right to express your opinion Art is not just entertainment Cheers!

What a pleasure to hear such good music. I've been following you for years and this EP is probably the best thing you've done and it's DIY. For your next episode, I would like to suggest you to review one track of the EP more deeply and especially how you mixed the drums with drummer 3, keyboards, vocals and probably the Axe FX. Thanks again for inspiring me every day in the music. Greetings from Paris (France). Ps: if you want to support my DIY french rock band: ffm.to/kxno98e
