The Western Wolves are our club's an up and coming HMB (Historical Medieval Battle) team. We compete in full contact steel fighting using blunted steel weaponry and participate in various types of fights including; Buhurt (team fights), pro fighting (1 v 1 fights similar to MMA), weapon specific duelling, and mass battles. On top of that we will seek out other competition formats with the goal to further our member's skill and knowledge of the medieval combat arts.
We train weekly and run sessions for HMB and HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) at our gym in Ballarat.
We participate in local tournaments and also travel abroad.
