I know I’m always commenting. But 100% my favorite channel on KZfaq. Love the lack of music and the videos are always jam packed with education. Working my ass off to get a big enough boat that I can do similar things from. May be years but I’ll get there! Nothing better than being completely alone on the ocean and catching big fish.

@@KeyWestWaterman no problem, really hope to be able to support with a charter trip in 2024. I’ll be down in the keys a few times and really working to get my brother and dad who have some spearfishing experience down there too. And if I get to the skill level where I can justify a high quality Bluewater gun, you know I’ll be buying a banana gun! Keep it up Aaron. What a cool life you’ve built for yourself.

I'll never forget my 1st time ever catching a fish offshore I went on a 36 hour tuna trip out of Manasquan New Jersey on a head boat 120miles to the Hudson canyon. It was a 8 hour ride to get there when we got there we spent the 1st 2 hours fishing for mahi which I got my limit of 15. Then as the sun started setting they set up for tuna And there was just nothing around so around 3 Am i decided to rig up my shimano 50w For swordfish. Dropped my bait down about 400' And Put my rod in the rod holder with the drag almost set to minimum with the clicker on And about 25 minutes later my reel started screaming. Fought the fish for about an hour and a 1/2 And landed a 300 pound beast. Was definitely one of the best experiences in my life ever. since then I've been going on 3 to 4 offshore trips every season.

Aron * I have a funny story for you. Back in 1967-68 mom bought swordfish from the supermarket. Brought it right home and cooked it in the oven. Put it on the table we all took some. It honestly didn’t smell bad but none of us could eat it. So we we gave it to the cat. The cat took one sniff . He turned and looked at us squealed like a pig hung to be slaughtered ran to the front door. So we let him out. He came back less than an hour hour later. He came in and dropped a giant mouse in his bowl. This is a true story. The story was funny enough when he turned his nose up at the fish. But when he brought in his own dinner. I hope you liked this story.

Wow, was watching your fishing trip on the computer and felt like I owe you for the trip, lol. Awesome video 📹 Sir. Cheri cooks a slab of grouper or tile fish 🐟 with the same ingredients, but puts it all together and covers it in aluminum foil then the last 10 to 15 minutes puts it on broil to put a little crunch on the top. Either way is perfect in my book 📖 👌

Great Video on catching and not fishing 😜 lol. That's awesome when you get the feeling....we've all had it before as fisherman. Love the channel, hopefully everything works out for you and the Paddling Maddling. She should start her own channel on what she does ☺️
