@@cosmic5665 That game has so much charm. Lol It's like a love-letter to the FGC. I'd definitely say try it out if you like Fighting Games. Lots of different ways to play. It is basically Marvel though but with BURST from GG. Lol So if you like team composition, interesting strategies and long combos, it's your game. If you hate Marvel... it's probably not worth it lol but it's super fun.

That would affect the gameplay if not the game balance negatively. I think a couple games attempted it but it wasn't well received. So aside from some platform fighters where this is a normal part of the game, this Is generally not a good idea. Now, maybe if a game was designed with that in mind from the start, it would work. Or if it was a side-mode for fun in local multi-player.

@@mrosskne I'm very much a casual player, but it's worth noting that 1) Different people have fun in different ways. Just because having serious competitives matches isn't how i have fun doesn't mean it's not a valid way to have fun. 2) 1 vs 1 VS fightings game in general, due to their format and their history have a heavy competitive element to them. The core audience for this genre expect to have a balanced game where a match is idealy a contest of skill between the two players. A dev can't exactly ignore the basis of the genre like this. which is why is said it should be something they put in a separate mode, so that thoses who want to play seriously can, but thoses who don't give a danm can play the wacky mode.
