The literal POINT is that she hides her true feelings, you see the shock when you kill Jorgan and she walks to his corpse as if she cannot believe what happened.

I think Light Side or Dark Side doesn't really defines the choices you have to make , that's why SWTOR remains one of the best MMORPGs there is to this imho , you have a freedom that is absent in many other bigger MMOs . I played mostly a Dark Side Warrior that was a bit of a brute , but still valued things such as loyalty . I removed Vette's collar , and even though she's not my favourite companion , she's more sympathetic afterwards . I think i romanced Quinn so it always made it easier to forgive him for momentarily betraying you to Baras ( i mean , he's originally Baras' man if i remember correctly , so it's not really a betrayal in the first place , and he ends up siding with you anyway , so Baras is the one who's betrayed in the end ) . And Jeasa is basically your Padawan and devoted to you , whether you're Light or Dark Side . Those 3 i don't think i could ever hurt them .

well i think that whether its better to play light side or dark side depends on what expansion your on, because if your not on the knights expansions then its your choice entirely, but if your on the knights expansions its much better to play the nice guy or girl;)

Arcann dealth with, Vaylen dealth with and all of a sudden Alliance becomes unable to resist a new threat? Common man. What if Lana didn't throw herself in front of the Alliance Commander to intercept that blaster bolt in that train? And what if she wasn't carrying that personal protective shielding or something? What if the alliance Commander failed to escape the train? He deserved banishment minimum, imprisonment likely. Death penalty? Probably not. I am against it anyways, but perhaps I wouldn't be able to resist myself,my anger, my rage while there on the field if was the real life event. Few skirmishes against each other aside, the Alliance kept both the Empire and the Republic in check. Tnx to the Alliance there was a balance in the Galaxy. There was relative peace and the Eternal Fleet was used to bring various resources to worlds that suffered tnx to the Eternal Empire. Now ALL of that is gone. Alliance's hand was more or less Forced to choose a side on Iokath, but even then, the Eternal Fleet and the Gravestone, made it possible to keep the Alliance's"allie"in check.

Theron literally said you that all this was an act, that Orden had spies in Alliance and he couldn't trust anyone and couldn't tell it commander, cause they were constantly listened all the time. And if he didn't act, Orden could just awaken Zildrog, Zildrog took the Fleet and Gravestone under control and destroyed the hole Allince forces and then just went in rampage on the galaxy. And you prevent it cause of Theron. Cause Theron infiltrated Orden, cause he sabotaged it in ways he could and fed Lana with the data that he could send without be uncovered. And then you just kill him, cause he "betrayed" you. I can understand banishment, cause you can't trust him anymore, despite he had good reasons no to tell you everything. But killing him is just stupid joice. It just doesn't have any sence, it's evil just for evil.

It is a difficult situation to be sure, but at least Bioware does something All other games don't even try. At least here you have some choice at the expense of future content. Other games are forcing you on single paths. Is it a gimmick? Yes, but in a game where player choice is so prominent I would much rather have that Gimmick and feel like I actually have a choice and my decisions matter. At the very least Theron still has influence and presence. Realistically speaking it is a big galaxy and story lines and characters should be changed, rather than sticking with same 5-6 characters over and over. Personally I am of the opinion that true player choice RPG's should be restricted to single player games and shorter than the average RPG's, but more focus on consequence and outcome. In long running MMO's or trilogies like Bioware it always limits everything. Witcher 2 is a good example of this, because you have so many different outcomes and a unique chapter based on choices. However just like Bioware the sequel rendered it useless. These types of games should be restricted to stand alone titles or spinoffs (like New Vegas)

Some of these romances are just tokens.

I know, right? Some of them (vik, for instance) I was like "well they kinda deserved that", but some of them (Senya for example) were just seriously heartbreaking.....

Do you not remember how she ordered the death of the agent she personally recommended and promoted? Then if you turn it down, she Force Chokes over holo and then calls you back like "that's that". She's pragmatic. Only YOU, the player, see that softer side. All codex info and how other characters speak and react to her seems they are more nervous arousnd her, unless you're there, because she's so unlike other Sith. She's logical but will then suddenly fry someone with lightning. I mean, she abandoned Theron to be tortured, stood on that decision, but almost broke down and showed her hurt when you were alone. Even Arkous states how he knew she would join him, because of her logical ways, until she met the player. Then everything changed and he knew he lost her. She's a Sith Lord who doesn't care about titles until they provide some advantage.

Not completly true some characters like arcaan and I think jorgan will still have some dialouge.

​@@MrMgage13 I don't know when exactly you were able to kill him, but from what I understand they changed it because each companion had a defined role rather than the current any companion can do anything system, and Quinn was your healer, so if you killed him you'd have no healer as a SW. I've heard that Vette would apparently kill herself if you kept the shock collar on long enough and kept torturing her with it, and it was changed for the same reason. I've never been able to find any reliable source about this tho, so take it with a grain of salt.

Think about it from another perspective. Which person is more useful in the long run? A Mando or a thief? In a time of conflict, I'll take the Mando every time. The only time Vette survives is because she was my warrior's romance.

For me, I looked at it like this, Vette is a young woman with a sister and friends who would be devastated at her death, Torian is a warrior of Mandalore, dying in battle, especially to Vaylin, would be a great honor to him, and while certainly people would mourn over him, everyone he knew would see it as an honorable death, even with the initial capturing. If you could speak to either companion's ghost post death, Torian would also see it that way, whereas Vette would probably be initially hurt that you chose to let her die, then there'd probably be some light side/dark side replies where she understands that it wasn't an easy decision, or she gets even more hurt because of how you viewed her, either as a lesser resource or were glad to be rid of her.

I wish I could kill both of them, because they both failed their mission.

@Kris Gonzalez I only feel bad about it because his original VA died. That’s a different person voicing him in KotFE as they wanted to get rid of any chance people would think he could return in the event they hadn’t heard the news as soon as possible.

@@HauptmannKrause I don't see why replacing a VO for a role is that big of a deal. They didn't use the same actor for Mordin in ME3 that BW used in ME2. Yes, I could tell the difference.

@@LdyVder Maybe that was their excuse to get rid of Vik? He's admittedly the worst Havoc Squad member and BioWare probably thought he wasn't really worth bringing back. Besides, it really wouldn't suit his character if he joined the Alliance (the same could be said about Kaliyo, really). It's also a nice twist, with BioWare saying that you might not get every one of your old companions back.

Sith have no allies they have subordinates. That's why Lana and Darth Marr are actually terrible Sith.

Killing her is one of the biggest mistakes . Jaesa and Lana are the most loyal sith ever and its a very rare thing

@@PietiaZz Jaesa would kill the Wrath if she had the chance because she is a Sith and Sith always strive to kill their masters. A Sith's loyalty is worth nothing because Sith embody pure ambition and would never settle with being somebody's subordinate. Sith are also incapable of feeling true long-lasting love, they can admire people for their power but not more. Sith keep relationships purely for their personal gain. This is also one of the reasons why Lana isn't a real Sith. She is actually happy with her position as a subordinate. If that wasn't enough, she also has actual friends that she cares for, not servants like it is common among Sith. Her whole persona is against Sith philosophy. She might use the Dark Side of the Force occasionally but she is NOT a Sith, even if she herself or others might refer to her as such. It's similar with Darth Marr. He also rejected parts of Sith philosophy which is why he managed to become one with the force (true darksiders cannot become one with the force). So Marr is actually the only "Sith" that truly broke his chains and became immortal, all because he rejected Sith philosophy.

Theron's betrayal is so stupid though considering your characters power levels in the game. I will always leave him.

Soon the new expansion will come out and you can customize your characters further. Jedi can use lightning or force choke based on conditions and all weapons will be available to the non-force user classes. Plus the story is getting updates so that's nice
