As a California resident, I stand with everything the blog boys said during the video. CA people have super nice stuff but just don't have the talent and aspirations to engage in actual competition like other states do. We have the real estate and resources but people just want to flex not actually rip. Only a few of us out there that show up to rip!

The Drags at Glamis despite being called "The Drags" has always been more of a "show what you got" type of event. People do line up and race but a lot of people don't care about that and just want to do a full speed run, or show off what they got.

The sand drags we’re drags back in the day. There was a starting line with a huge wall of sand from everyone’s roost. It changed when the SXS came out and motorcycles, Quads started to deplete. Mexico is past the 8 freeway, not just past China Wall. Lots of riding in between.

One of the best jumps in all of the dunes is at the end of the sand drags at Gordon's Well, on the sand highway. It's there every year and it is enormous, gotta find it sometime!!

I used to love Glamis on a busy weekend in the early 90's . Its way too out of control and dangerous nowadays. Oregon dunes are way more my speed now.

You guys really need to check out Saint Anthony sand dunes!!! You wouldn't regret the trip!

Hi amigos Been going to Glamis for over 20 years back in the day they would line up actually stop and go but it would be sand cars then motorcycles than quads now it's like you said mayhem try to find you guys out there but didn't happen maybe next time

The chevrons they are running on their sxs work so damn good my girlfriends bike uses them and it’s the only paddles that actually work with her bike and the nicest thing about them is they work in so much more then sand

Should you do a campSXSBlog event there and show the cali's how to dragrace? If you plan in advance and build up excitement you should be able to gather a crowd. And if you partner up with known vendors you don't need to pull all the weight on your own back.
