People that have never driven these machines in these situations think “there’s just no way this can make it through this stuff” but people who live and ride in these areas have had no choice but to find out they can make it or you don’t get back to the house. The ability of these cars is mind blowing.

If i must say.... The R Max really does good on those tight steep technical trails Dispite the short wheel base an high center of gravity. I see why people call them the billy goat. Its not only a test for the sxs. Its a test for the SXSBlog crew as well..... And it could have gone way worse, the car could have slid down hill little more after the drop in an it could have sent him in a good 2 or 3 role's... Thank god Mike is good. An i imagine he is sore from that.. I know i would be. Amazing content as always guys. Thank you for sharing the good times an good vibes.

Y'all have to check out Hot Springs offroad park! It's like West "By God" Virginia with alot more technical rock(boulder) climbing, mountain climbs/descents, creekbed trails, waterfalls & Extremely beautiful views. You could spend a week there easily with new trails each day. It's great fun and good people. You won't regret it

I’ve always had a great experience at Hatfield, Larry at rc lodging and his awesome dog Peggy have always been a great guide and place to stay at pinnacle creek.

Really fun trails, and those are the perfect machines, Bearwallow does have some knarley double black diamond trails, so does ivy branch, you guys can hit that on your way home.

You guys made my day. Looks like a great ride 🎉😂

I think we can all agree on the fact that y’all did some awesome driving on this trail, as when I was there we were told that the black and double black diamond trails were for motorcycles and that quads and SXSs were not permitted to travel them, but that was in 2012

I don’t know if all the truck comments are serious or not but in case some are, that truck ain’t never getting out of there. We ride in Preston county WV and when kids take their dad’s truck into places like that and it’s hopeless to get them out, that’s where they stay. I imagine the insurance company figures it would cost more than they’re worth to recover. It could also be a stolen truck that the insurance company would have figured the same thing. Not that I endorse thievery, but how fun would that be in someone else’s machine that you knew you’d just walk away from it at the end?
