There definitely appears to be some differences in her appearance, I agree. My main issue is that people jump to conclusions on why this is way too quickly. Sydney's comment on her being a lesbian is an absolutely WILD take.

The claims they make about Aloy are wild. Do they really think she is ugly?

@@StevenBanaszak maybe its internal jealousy Idk. She isn't fat either, she just gained a lot of muscle. When I started getting muscular certain clothes made me look chunky. 😒😅

Time has passed and it's on a next-gen system. Is that not reason enough to change her appearance a bit?

@@StevenBanaszak No not at all. Just because it's next-gen doesn't mean the characters design should be tweaked. Even the fact that time has passed in-game isn't really a good reason because Aloy is extremely active. She's been busy searching for months upon months since Horizon Zero Dawn. As you've noticed yourself they made her face thicker. Almost as if she's gained weight. But knowing how physically active Aloy is she would probably lose more weight instead of gaining it. So there is no logical reason to tweak the way she looks. The only reason I can think off is that they made her look less appealing because good looking female game characters are often oversexualized by the gaming community. The bottom line is that her looks were intentionally changed without proper reason. Even in game development the saying ''If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it'' has meaning.

@@isturbo1984 I've had friends that got massive muscle at the same time they starting taking in protein and they changed very quickly. This whole shift seemed pretty natural to me and never bothered me. But maybe its because I'm used to games changing.

@@lizziegirl5124 what does that have to do with this conversation though? first of all, Aloy didnt get more muscular, she got fatter. second, there isnt any lore or logic to explain it away in this case, when the developers themselves changed it for political reasons. cmon girl. there are plenty of characters that change for one reason or another. but the was made chunkier because the devs hired Sweet Baby Inc, a woke consultant company, to transform the characters in the game. you dont have to like it, but its the truth. like what more do you require to open your eyes to the situation?
