The man known as the 'king of pop' had an extraordinary career, but he was also the 'king of controversy'.
His mother Katherine Jackson takes us inside the family compound where she breaks her silence on the scandals that dogged her son; her granddaughter's attempted suicide and, now, new allegations of child molestation.
It is a heartfelt and at times difficult conversation with a mother who is still coming to terms with the loss of her son.

My heart breaks for her. I come from a family of 12 and remember when my little brother was killed in an auto accident the hurt my mother felt and seemed never to get over. My mom is gone now but when I saw this interview it truly reminded me of my mother and her devotion and ever lasting love for her children. God bless you Katherine Jackson

Michael's mom is so nice and charming! I don't believe Leaving Neverland! It's just a mockumentary made for money! Michael didn't molest anybody, it's the media that molested him, causing his untimely death! I can only thank Leaving Neverland for making me re-visit his music! Now I'm listening to Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, and I love them all in 2019! Invincible is also a great album BTW! His music and soul will live forever! Michael just happened to be the most famous person on the planet whose life was, despite the pain and disabilities he suffered, and bullying by the media, still managed to rise above it all and become one of the greatest entertainers, and humanitarians of our time.

There is so much talk of the past we should love one another, do everything we can to help make this world a better place. I personally feel that Katherine Jackson is very precious; she is a great woman that raised legends and needs the reassurance that we are here for her and her family. This made me cry. The hurt and pain in Katherine's eyes. I know that pain. I've lost two sons myself. When i look in her eyes i see Michael and that's makes me cry harder. I miss him sooooooooooo much. Rest in peace Michael.

@@naar1991 According to Katherine in the docu " The life of an icon" She said she asked Michael why did you pay them off, he replied mum I didn't, I plan to came back from tour ready to fight and prove my innocence and discover they had done this. Tom became his lawyer 6 years after, not sure his insight is the best to go by when he wasn't there to confirm exactly how it happened
