To trim, try holding down or pushing left stick down like a button. Then use right stick by pushing it in the direction you want to trim.

I got one the same thing and it's actually really cool bc and I have a landing pad too and I've been flying around most of the time

I just got this one in your review and there aren't many reviews for it. I only got a Chinese instruction manual so I'm trying to figure out the controls but I can tell you from my previous experience with Syma that by pressing in on the left stick enters you in to trimming mode so you can trim this drone.

I'm almost positive as many drones are moving to this type of trimming, you press the left stick in and use the right stick to trim in the desired direction. This thing looks sweet but the built in battery is a deal killer for me unless I can buy it dirt cheap. Anyway good reviews, try the trimming method anytime you don't see trim buttons.

I wish they would have built this on the geared motors from the X5 rather than outboards... I'm sure concessions were made for manufacturing processes, and overall durability. However, if you built a V929 style ultralight quad in this "heli" configuration, it would be so fantastic because the lower RPMs with the geared motors and larger props make it nearly silent flying.

Most Syma drones are trimmed by pressing in the left joystick and selecting trim direction with the right.

Does it hover by itself (hands free) if you let go of the sticks or you always have to control it?

It reminds me of the white flying vehicle from that tom cruze movie
