wow I love this and can't wait to see what other symbols you're gonna tackle in this series! I'd love to add a little to the butterly in Beast 'butterly'. The song was released after beast lost a member, and I'm pretty sure that the song is about him. And what for me helps confirm this is that Jonghyun (the member who wrote the lyrics) also has a solo song called 'flower' were he compares himself to a butterly (the butterly burns in the mv) and a girl to a flower. Which makes me think that the butterly that left in 'butterly' must represent a male, must represent the member that left beast.

Loona's Butterfly is also linked to the Butterfly Effect! It represents the events brought about after the group's formation as one. The song covers topics such as empowerment and transformation like you said, but also plays into Loona's lore and the storyline they have created thus far! In Butterfly we see the events of past music videos reimagined through other women from across the globe to show that Loona's journey toward empowerment and their transformation into stronger and kinder women fueled by self-love is not just their own, but a journey open to everyone. They wanted to tell people (fans and non-fans alike) that they are deserving of love and appreciation and remind them that sometimes that love comes from within and systems of oppression or abuse in one's life are not a source of validation but of pain and a barrier against one's potential! However, in the events of Butterfly, we see through scenes in the music video that this is not the only path to change. Everyone has there own approach to reaching their fullest potential. This fully culminates in their next comeback So What, which shows a more disastrous and destructive path to change, sometimes at the expense of those around you. And those in the same situation who got burned when you destroyed you past self in favor of growth will distrust and maybe even hate you for abandoning them and only thinking of yourself at the expense of others (Obviously, I know that in instances of abuse this is sometimes one's only option, but it is a facet of their message they have yet to discuss so I'll move on as well). The two mvs are meant to show the same sequence of events but Butterfly breaks the loop by replacing So What's more aggressive tactic of self-betterment with one that elevates those around you! Butterfly shows how uplifting those in a similar position or state of mind as you leads to community and success! Essentially saying: change is possible and you deserve love too! *Disclaimer* Yes, I know not everyone knows this and you would need to be a fan to get all of this information. That's why I'm commenting it! I LOVED what was covered in the video and this is one of my favorite youtube channels, as well! I know im late but when i read butterfly I thought of Loona

I was once into kpop before giving my life to Christ. After I got saved by Jesus He revealed to me the demonic hold this industry and the music industry in general has a hold on this world. I used to worship BTS without even realizing it. I was stuck in a trance unable to get out of it. I made BTS my idols "hence kpop idols" i took my focus off Jesus and I was tormented by so many spirits i let into my room due to the fact I worshiped kpop. All of my merch had spirits attached to them and I could see dark presences where my items were. I repented and threw out EVERYTHING! idc how much it cost bc we'll leave it behind when going to heaven. Repent now And accept Jesus Christ

It represents mk ultra it makes no sense for them to be everywhere and to be so common. Butterflies represent transformation idols undergo after monarch mind control programming. They have alters and thats why we see alot of mirrors shattering and disorderd pictures. There is no fluffy and cute meaning behind it.

Just to add on, WJSN’s butterflies have another meaning behind them. They represent the 3 Chinese members who were unable to participate in the activities since Mid 2018 due to scheduling conflicts. In Save Me Save You, you can see 3 butterflies in a jar, 3 shooting stars & 3 books. Fast forward to 2020 their song Butterfly also indicates that we can expect them to comeback in the next release.

The sad thing is that these singers/entertainers are often so young whilst starting out, that they (in my opinion..most of them anyway) literally are ignorant about what they are doing when showing the butterflies 🦋 (amongst other recognizable symbols we’ve all seen) in their music vids. & when they are on the red carpets/doing interviews/having group pictures taken etc. Their labels aka owners (sadly) once that contract is signed, have all say so in what they wear, & what symbol to flash. Otherwise, why on earth would you be able to google (for example) “pop” stars showing the 666 hand 👌🏻 symbol...& literally see every single mainstream pop star doing it? It’s surely not something that’s ORIGINAL! Or another example is infamous coverage of the left eye 👁 symbol. This all dates back as far as the late 60’s! And prior. My great uncle Curtis Lee was best friends with Elvis Presley. My mom was born in Memphis TN. Long story short. She found out about a lot of these things via her uncle. Him/Elvis played music 🎶 together for yrs. Elvis always called bk home to tell my gr8 uncle that he regretted selling his self to the industry. Anyways, Elvis was an awesome down to earth guy.
